I have an idea to help reduce redunant posts, yet keep everyone happy. I searched to see if this has been brought up before, but found nothing concerning the idea I have.
I think AO should adopt a sort of mentorship program to help new players and members to the site. It doesnt have to be anything long and fancy, but merely a list of people willing to help with problems any player may be having with their equipment. The list would show the person's username and a listing of the guns they own or have owned in the past, or maybe those willing to help could say so in their personal signature. These listed members should be willing to help those players in search of answers they have not been able to find. The help could be applied over PM, thus reducing space taken up by multiple topics of the same question, and keeping possible flame wars from springing up.
Anyone who has an idea to add, thinks this is a cool idea or thinks its a dumb idea altogether I would like your reply. I am interested to see how the community, mods and admins feel about this.
