I am trying to get an event up at an paintball arean and I was wondering who would be interested in coming. I have asked the owners if they would allow us but no responence yet.

What:Air Soft Event (Scenarios will be posted)
When:Memorial Day (May 31st) 10:00-17:00 (5:00pm)
Where: Hopefully Gator Joe's Paintball Fields (if you have talked to them and they don't want us let me know) I'll post derections later but about one hour away form Indy.

Please I'd just like to know who would be interested in coming. If there is some interest I'll post more info (and if they approve of air softing).
Thanks!

They will ALLOW us to Air Soft. I am going to call the them and see if I can set up a date to do it. I'll post more info like prices when I get it.

Is anyone else interested?

P.S. The team I started is a bunch of new guys so go easy on us. We're just tired of shoot'n each other in our backyards! *rubs forearm*

If anyone had a piece of land there are several people in or around Indy who are looking for a place to play. I've tried contacting most of them that have registered as being near here in order to organize an event. If anyone has the land or a place to play I'm sure we could organize a skirmish with good numbers turn-out.
If anyone would like to try to organize an Indy skirmish please e-mail me as I will be more than glad to come and help.

Well, I don't know if you realize it, but Indy is about 2 hours from you. There are several teams near Cincinatti, which is where you seem to be from. Look on the "Teams" page and you'll find some teams near you.

No offense, son, but many teams have minimum age requirements. You may simply have to wait until you are old enough. Either that, or prove to a few of the memnbers that you are mature and responsible enough to play with them.

And the best way to do what Texx suggests is to a) quit spamming every topic on the forum, b) learn to spell, capitalize, and punctuate your sentences, and c) refrain from putting your freaking phone number on the internet.

There have been several events now around Indy put on by teams *EMS*, IMPACT, and FEAR. I have contacted all of you who have posted on this thread, with very little replies. If you wish to attend future skirmishes around Indy please email me at solution_zero@hotmail.com .

Guys, If I may lend some assistance. Solution, you and I have spoken, but not about this topic. As of right now, Indiana airsoft is in it's infant stages. Yes, Indiana did have one of the first Midwest serious airsoft teams (for those of you wondering Team Tango in NW Indiana) but other than that, there's not too much.

I lived and went to school in Indy for 3 and a half years. In fact, Indy was where I started getting into the airsoft world. The simple fact of the matter is that the market of players in and around Indianapolis and the rest of the state is young.

Solution, you unfortunantly have been spolied. You have been to a few AO events and know what a good event is. It would be hard for someone of your caliber of play to accept the little backyard skirmishs and the amaturish play of some of your fellow softers. In fact, I truely do feel sorry for the guys comming into the game today. The game is some much differant than it was 4 years ago. Tactics were a coodinated push, coms ment yelling, and strap your gear on ment lacing up your boots and strapping on that ratty old LBV-88.

I suppose my best advice to grow the sport in this state is to start out small and young. Look to possibly having a group of 5 of 6 guys. Then grow from there. Changes won't happen over night. It also may be possible that nothing ever comes out of it. Sometimes things don't work out for no apparent reason. But the best way to grow the sport in the state is to just keep at it. Maybe a high profile team from Indiana that is active in the airsoft community can spark some intrest. I don't know, but that's just my .02.

Well, thank you for the compliments Iceman. It was an honor to play aside you, Lonegunmen, and other members of 6MM. I hope one day our team will become as strong, organized, and well regarded as yours.

My roommate and myself have started a team in Indy known as Team FEAR. ( http://www.freewebs.com/fearairsoft/ ). It is only 3 members as of current, as its hard to find players. We are currently merging with the Bloomington team known as IMPACT ( http://www.freewebs.com/impact_indiana/ ). We have skirmishes almost bi-weekly, with a good turnout "given the small amount of Indiana players."

There are 4 teams that attend the skirmishes regularly, "FEAR, IMPACT, *EMS*, and members of DLM." Airsoft in Indiana is growing steadily, and we are finding new members almost every week. Its come a long way in the last couple months. I'm actually in the process of planning a huge event to be held next spring/summer. It will most likely be a series of 6 hour games, with some held at night/dusk in a half lit up urban setting. Several good scenarios with a couple different objectives for each, and a great storyline. I intend for it to be quite a good time.

As always, we'll still be out to AO games frequently. We're gathering together a full squad for the next game out at Red Dragon.

If anyone is looking for airsoft action in Indiana, please drop by the IMPACT forum; http://airsoftindiana.proboards22.com/index.cgi . As stated above, there are skirmishes in Indianapolis, Bloomington, and North Salem area bi-weekly. Hope to see some new faces out there!
