This is a good game for a small number, no more than ten.

You need: a pilot in flight suit equipped with radio, rubber survival knife and GBB pistol and one large bedsheet (parachute)

All remaining players are the enemy.

Pilot starts at one end of the field. Enemy starts at the other. The pilot must escape and evade the enemy and get to the opposite start point.
He is on his own. What's so hard about that?

Before the game, make up a deck of 10 3x5 cards with various injuries. Flip them over, shuffle them and give one to the pilot. There should be one or two uninjured cards in the deck as well. The pilot is to act out the injury he received upon 'landing'. You should have a reasonably good sized field so the game is not too easy. Set the time to suit the field size. Small field 30 m, med field 1 hr, large field 1-2 hrs.

This is an ultra realistic game. Hit in the arm, or extremity, you lose its use. Chest wound drops you like a rock. Headshot is fatal. As the enemy, you want this man alive for your intelligence services to interrogate if possible. As the pilot, you are fighting for your life. Good luck.

If you are amongst friends, then the pilot may use any weapon he can get from the enemy, another pistol, AEG, etc. He may ALSO take a uniform jacket to disguise himself.

It will definitely take some real skill on the part of the pilot to evade the enemy. Any pilot who has ever ejected an aircraft will tell you that it does terrible things to your back. The chances of ejecting an aircraft unscathed are not good. You WILL have some injury. The only question is HOW BAD.

The cards will tell you how serious your wounds are.

No one ever said it would be EASY. Think of it as a chance to develop Escape and Evasion skills (hence the name Double Echo... E&E)

Spook we have done a version quite like that, our pilot was only given a springer sidearm and there is a 2 man CSAR team helping him get to a new LZ, the pilot hides first but can evade if enemy comes around, CSAR guys find him and help him to LZ, games usually end up with alota guys trying to fight them off at the LZ, we played like you said realistic hits, and we gave the enemy team unlimited respawns at a respawn point further away from the new LZ so the enemy team kinda came back in waves, its a great game we play alot.

If you have a really big field (forest, etc.) try this version of that scenario: You place the pilot somewhere towards the center, and he doesnt know who is on which team. equipped w/ only a GBB Semi-Auto pisol, and you have two teams trying to reach him. It works best in a wooded area. One team is the 'enemy' and they just want to kill the pilot. The other team is the 'good guys' and they want to rescue the pilot, and extract him to a specified LZ. Both teams pretty much rush and try to find the pilot, and some insane firefights usually erupt, sometimes pretty far from the pilot. You can have respawn, but the 'good guys' respawn should take twice the time than the 'enemy' respawn, as the pilot was downed in Enemy Territory. You should also try and make the teams numerically unfair, the advantage given to the 'enemy'. Being the pilot is insane in this scenario. You sometimes hear people coming, and you cant decide whether or not to show yourself, because you dont know if they are friendlies or not.

ooh, I want to try your origional idea spook so badly. I like the haveing to capture the pilot not kill him, although the CSAR people would ad a element of chance to it. If we have enough time on the friday before blindfury, for those who arive early, maby we could play a short game of it.anybody interested?
