Hey!
I am as dumb as it gets for saying this, but I guess it is worth a try. Okay, here it goes... If anyone can give me a ride to BF, I can still pay extra mileage and my parents might be okay with it (if not I can just say I am sleeping over someones house). I might be on probation at this time so I might just elaboratly take my traking thingy onto a friend haha (j/k)!
Okay I really wanna go, but there is one big problem, I do not have a gun. The only thing I have comming is my GBB 93R, that my dad might not find out about. If anyone that will be at BF or (if) that can give me a ride has an AEG that I can borrow/rent (I will pay you good) then you will be my hero.
Nothing can deprive me of my dreams hobbies and goals and I am not going to let this detour me in anyway.
Please contact me ASAP if you can, and you will be a hero and a friend.
Thanks
P.S. - anyone that does this will automaticly be enlisted in Airsoft of Lakewood free of charge, as a Cadet. This is much better then starting off as a normal studey *** private haha!
Delta out.

Can I be your hero and friend WITHOUT taking you to BF?

Well that would only qualify you for a possible friend; you can still let me rent your AEG!

delta, this is not how you should go about such things. airsoft is not a big enough deaal that you should risk your parents' trust over it. airsoft is about integrity and honor, not about going behind your parents' backs to go to an event or get a gun. if i were you i would discuss this further with your parents and tell them how you feel.

Yes, and well put. I do know my mother will agree and I am almost positive my father would, I was just trying to get a laugh. I am all about honor and am a very respectful person. Even if this event with the cops never happened I would still need a ride b/c my parents can't drive me (doesn't mean they do not improve). I would never make a habit of anything decietful and would never attempt deciet from something illegal. Besides don't my parents have to sign a waver for me to go?

yeah, they do have to sign a waiver if its your first time to the field. ok, just checkin man. running away or sneaking out or whatever you wanna call it is a serious thing and will only get you into more trouble with the police. so, remember kids, stay in school and dont do drugs. you drink the booze, you loose.

Honor..........Integrity..........remember guys, this is only a game! This sounds too much like the military now! Even though honor and integrity are essential values in life (I'm an ethics nut myself)........airsoft's about having fun!

Delta, don't go behind your parent's back. Talk it over, and you will probably eventualy get your way.

I know what you meant, I was just joking around a bit :D

I had just seen a commercial for the USMC stressing "Honor, Courage, Commmitment".......and then I saw a post saying airsoft is about "Honor and Integrity".........found that quite funny :D

Honor and Integrity is something you should have in every aspect of your life. Honor is required to play airsoft, honor is required to follow the rules and call your hits, if you are going to be dishonorable to your parents then that would be good reason to doubt your honor on the field.

Keep in mind everyone I WAS JOKING!!!!!
I couln't possibly do it w/o my parents signing the waver!!!!!
I am all about honor and am not going to disrespect my parents like that! So if you can give me a ride my parents would know!!!!!!

Doesn't Francois rent AEG's? I think they're like $30, he had a good selection a while ago. I don't know if he still does it, but he used to rent M4 R.I.S., MP5SD6, AK Spetz, and $50 for an M60 STD, I used the '60 at Combat Missions 1. It was great.

As everyone on AO already knows, I'm usually a real *** about NewB questions. But since I'm only two years into softing myself, I guess I'll have to start helping instead of providing negative comments. Either way, I didn't catch your name (starter of this thread) but Francois's AIM screen name is "CombatDepot". Hope this helps. Or I can PM you his answer on whether or not he rents airsoft weaponry anymore.
