OPERATION: BLACK OPS
The main objective for this mission is to have each individual act out the part of being in a military environment. This will be a two day event that will start sometime on Saturday afternoon and end sometime Sunday afternoon. Once the game begins, the mission will not end until the ultimate objective is completed. This means that this can and will talk place at night as well as in the daytime. PLAN ACCORDINGLY!!!
THE GAME
At the start of the game on Saturday, the group will be separated into two separate teams (Team Thunder and Team Lightning). Each team will be escorted by an OC to the general vicinity where that team will set up camp. Within the camp, each team will be supplied with conduit pipes, tarps, rope, zip ties, and fire wood. Each team must set up base camp before any further direction is given. When the OC has decided that camp has been successfully set up, he/she will hand out to each player a note card that will have a specific role on it. The player who holds that card must follow that role for the duration of the game. Each of the teams will also be broken down into four separate units (if enough people attend) if the team decides to use them. The game will officially start when both teams start to set up base camp.
THE OBJECTIVE
Each team, with the tarps and conduit, must construct a "Control Building". This control building can be set up as each team desires but it must have at least four walls and have two ways to enter. The remainder of the tarps that you dont use can be used as that team wishes. The "Control Building" can be built anywhere within the camp but must be within 10 yards of the camp itself. Within this "Control Building" will be an air horn that will represent the "Heart" of the team. In order to win the game, the opposing team must infiltrate the camp, enter the "Control Building" and sound the air horn.
REGEN RULES
While in the field of play, each player will have an unlimited number of regens. During the game, if a player gets hit by an opposing team member, that player is to drop to the ground (DO NOT CALL HIT OUT LOUD) pull out a kill rag and place it on their person. From the time that player gets hit, he has exactly three minutes to wait for a medic to come "heal" you. All the medic has to do is come over and tap you on the shoulder. While you are waiting to regen, you are not allowed to call for a medic either on the radio or out loud. You also can not signal for your teammates to get the medic. If the medic does not reach you in time and the three minutes are up, that player who is hit has to walk/jog/run back to base camp and regen.
MEDIC RULES
Each team will be assigned five to ten medics depending on the number of players who attend the game. Each medic will be issued a card of which will hold a specific number of tabs (probably five to ten). When the medic gets "killed", he must find the OC that is assigned to the team and regen with him/her. During the regen, the OC will clip out a tab on the medic's card. Once the tabs on the medic's card are gone, the medic becomes an average player on the team and is no longer able to regen people on the field of play.
OC's Responsibilities
Distribute supplies to the two team's camps
Monitor Medic regens
Monitor Safety Issues
Photograph play
Give instructions to teams
Monitor dishonest players and game play
Food
Each team will be supplied with enough food for two meals for each person. The food supplied will be hot dogs, buns, chips, apples, oranges, coleslaw, potato salad, water, plastic silverware, paper plates, and garbage bags. If any person wants to bring more food, then so be it but that expense is the responsibility of that person.
Camping Gear
Each person is expected to bring supplies and equipment for camping. We all have been camping before so what to bring shouldn't be an issue. Each person is expected to bring a tent, sleeping bag, pillow, flashlight, watch and any other supplies necessary for camping out one night. If you are planning on sharing a tent with someone, please indicate that so that proper modifications can be made. Coolers to store food will also be needed.
COST
The cost per person will be $20. This money will cover food that will be provided as well as land use.
thanks
