Airsoft Ohio Community, as I recall Wallace once said, “ …if you win CMII, you earn bragging rights for one year…” Well that was a motivating comment a year ago, but having won, it is a lot more. As team captain for iNTELLIGENCE Plot [iP] I feel compelled to deliver this forum post.
First, our complements to Wallace and the organizers. This was an experiment, a new paradigm in airsoft as we know it, well attended (in bad weather), and the best AO event ever, our opinion. Your dedication, planning, personal financial sacrifice, and commitment to AirsoftOhio were evident all day, thank you! Second, our complements go out to the shadow squads. You were fare, extremely challenging, and set the tone for the whole event by honoring BB hits/outs. AO closed last season with many posts concerned with honor, cheating, and detraction from airsoft. By your example during CMII, you set the bar for honor and fair play. What a great start to the 2003 season.
This event was personally an introduction to our team of the veterans of AO, your names are on the AO marquee! You know who you are, thank you, we learned a lot.
In regards to the other teams, what a day! We were all winners! We were all challenged like never before, in an AO event. Preparation, strategy, and team work were the key. Command, control, and original creativity were tested like never before, once again, our complements to the home team! We think it only fare that the top three teams from this event perform as shadow squad for the next event an let this years shadow teams battle for bragging rights. Hell yes! A new AO traditions? Maybe?
Credit when credit is due. The team from [iP] purchased the vast majority of our “hardware” from AirsoftToys ( their fault). There is a reason, service after the sale. During CMII, Francois repaired 3 of our 4 AEG’s on the spot, in time for the next mission, thank you! On both Saturday and Sunday, Michael, sold us the best bb at the best price, and verbally supported our team with experienced counsel and advice on airsoft strategy, thank you!
To close, I must complement the members of iP that performed at CMII. Bragging rights! You won, congratulations go to: B|itzkreg, Namboose, nosebuckle, mojave, Dirty, Krom3, shatofo, Ansaid, lampadeusa, Yucks, and 73.
