Paypal question...

Im such a paypal noob, i need your guys help.

hey all, Im in the process of selling my AK 47 to a good friend. He sent money through paypal to my account ( i would have preferred a check, but thats just me) but my account uses a credit card, not debit. So now, he wants me to send the money back to him, so he can send me a check. I currently have 280 dollars in my paypal account.

My question is, if i send him 280 dollars, will it come straight from my account? i simply cant have it bill my credit card, as i dont need that right now....

And if i were to say.....send 300 dollars to him, it would take the 280 thats sitting in my account, and then dip onto my credit card for 20 dollars right?

You have achoice. Initially, it comes from your account unless you choose to pay via a card, which adds a 3% surcharge. If you just send it, it SHOULD come straight out of the Paypal account though.
