ANNOUNCEMENT

The core players at Airsoft Iowa have grown tired of Airsoft. Problems with the guns looking too realistic and players not calling their hits are the major reasons. We have decided to change over to Paintball. A much more mature and prominent sport. We will be forming additional teams and launching a new website very soon.

I know some people will not be happy with this decision but someone is definitely welcome to pick up where I left off.

If anyone has any comments or questions please visit the new paintball section in the forums.

"A much more mature sport"?????? Is that supposed to just mean it's been around longer, or that Airsoft is immature?
Oh well. Their loss in my opinion. I really doubt that will happen here though. ;)

Well,... I guess that's what happens when you play a game of honor with a bunch of cheaters,..... and I suppose their mothers didn't like the way the guns looked so real and everything.

Obviously its not an airsoft organization such as AO, the sport is most likely better off without them if they have that many problems because their guns look too realistic, makes you wonder what they are doing with them..

The posts in the Airsoft Iowa forums about them selling their AEGs and all going in together and getting matching BMX jerseys about had me rolling on the floor... awesome gag

Thats exactly why i dont like paintball. Bright colored jerseys...no war realism what so ever...

And Airsoft Iowa should have gone paintball from the start, considering all of em are dirty little cheatin monkeys....
