I am very interested in buying a rifle for use in sniping. Keep in mind I am VERY new to this so I have ZERO idea what to look for. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you're new to the sport of airsoft, I HIGHLY recommend reading the Newbie FAQ which is located by clicking the FAQs tab on the right side of the page. It's a relatively long read, weighing in at around 60 pages of text, but it will answer about 95% of all newbie questions and will give you a good general understanding of what airsoft is all about.

I would also recomend to look at the links section, located below the FAQs. It has a lot of links that will lead to a lot of great sights. Look under the dealer section for where to get what weapon you would like when you figure out weapon that is.
