Alright, as some of you know I am always looking for new stuff to do that is different for this game. Here is my latest creation.......

I am sure everyone has seen Saving Private Ryan and this is the track that I am thinking. I am doing it from the standpoint of writing but I thought the video thing would help us see tactics and other things.

The premise is this....a person acting as the OC will also act as 'command' and camera man. He would give the heroes (1 to 5) a mission objective and their mission would be to complete it. To make things interesting the OPfor would be prebriefed as to locations, times, and actions to be carried out. There would possible be set dialogue or ideas for talk but when the action hit, it would be up to the heroes to overcome it. If they get hit, they would call their hit as in a regular game and when there is one person left or something they would call in for reinforcements. When the person is hit he will walk behind the camera man/OC and regen, and then come back in. So the action would be real. The good guys would fight as usual and the bad guys the same with a little knowhow on the heroes objective.

Here is another twist.....only one man at a time will be able to call in to command. Each can have team radios but only one to command. There would be a hierarchy so someone would be in charge. There could be challenge passwords and more militaristic ideas. This hopefully would create a more involved scenario.

Also through thier travels, command would change intel and send them on other missions. So there would be many other side missions to get people more involved.

The heroes would be seperated from the rest of OPfor so their immersion factor would be greater. And the heroes can be rotated completing different missions.

What do you guys think?

Good idea, you could also do similar missions on movies like Enemy at the Gates, Blackhawk Down, ect.

I finally got to run it, and the players had a total blast. Most said it was the best game they have ever played. If you are interested in the details let me know. I can write up an AAR.
