Has anyone used 6mm paintballs in their spring airsoft guns? Did they work well? If any broke in the gun, was it damaging and/or hard to clean? Does anyone know where I can buy some in the Cincinnati area? Does using them void your waranty?

dont do it! the UHC m92 (your profile says that you own that gun) has hopup, as most guns do. using paintballs in a hopupped gun cause that paintballs to burst when they hit the hopup o ring. i have a friend who tried it. i think he also tried them in a crappy springer he has that has no hopup and they bursted in the barrel as well. i guess when the air pressure from the piston hits them, it causes them to explode. i dont have an explanation, but they do bust in the gun, are a pain to clean out, and if you leave it there for a long period of time they could rust the barrel. so, dont do it!

I suggest not using paintballs in ANY gun (Spring, GBB, AEG). Wether the gun has hopup or not, the paintballs WILL break, voiding your warranty. When you pull the bolt/slide back, a little bolt slides backward and when you release it, it moves forward and pushes the BB out of the mag into the chamber. This is where it pops. You have no idea how many times I had to take apart my Hardball II because of that.
