Anyone know where I can buy one of these, separate from the flashhider?

Ran into this problem a while back. A good idea is to take the flashider NOT THE WHOLE GUN  to a hardware store and try to find an alan screw that's small enough. Best of luck to you.

Yea, lol...Imaging walking in with the whole gun.... Be funny until you get shot by the person behind the counter. Did you find the right size screw at the hardware store?

You can also use a 14mm 1/8" rubber ring washer (O-ring) and simply tighten the flashhider down. That's what I had to do after a person we all know and love forgot to include the allen screw when he returned my AEG. I spoke with Blade about geting a replacement. His two minute pause (laughing at my request) kind of hit home quickly. It's a 1mm Setscrew.

I spent a day and a half looking for one in every hardware store in the tri-county area to no avail. Then I went to a gun store and bought a spare parts kit for a Beamshot triggerguard mount for a Beamshot laser. One of the hex screws fit perfectly. A little work wite a dremel gave me a slot screw. It was perfect. But the O-ring included in the kit worked better so I ditched the set screw.

K, thanks for the tiny screw info. I would of had it tightened, but the stupid thing was too small for any allen wrench I had at my disposal. Belive me, I have some really small allen wrenches....I think it fell of in the yard some where, because I searched all areas of the house where its been....

Hey dude, don't worry about it for 2 reasons:

1. Its not really needed, every one loses their's.

2. I got 6 1x3mm set screws coming, because my russian PSO-1 uses the same type of screw for the lenses.

Cheers
