Hi. I was wondering if anyone here knew if there would be any Airsoft events at Challenge Park Xtreme in Joliet, IL this year. I have emailed Challenge Park Xtreme and have yet to be replied after a week. Also, is there anyone on this site for Chicago and the suburbs that play skirmishes in the summer monthes that my "clan" in Joliet, IL could come up and play in. Please reply on either topic if you know of any information. Also, my aim handle is Awwyea35 you may contact on me on either information too.
The Strikers went to CPX last July. There is a thread in the Events section. Several teams from Wisconsin plan to attend any summer events. You might try contacting Geeks with Guns, resident member and cofounder, Battlepreist. CPX also has a website that should be updated as soon as soon as the Spring Sessions open.
If CPX doesn't post a thread in the event section, just keep checking with them. Other than that, there's not much else I could tell you.

CPX as far as I know has somethings in the works but nothing for sure. There is a place called Realms of Ruin that is hosting events there through aggressive sports. Dont quote me on that. If you are looking for a place to play in the summer, me and my teammates (Team Archangel) hold games the third calander sunday of every month. Feel free to contact me via PM or email through the boards.
As a side note, Texx is right. Battlepriest is the man to talk with about games there. He seems to have the most consistant contact with the owners. Hope this helps.

As I did last season, I plan to keep in contact with Joe Kagaan, the Airsoft contact at CPX, as much as possible, and keep everyone updated when I can get any information.
Tactical Ops, you will want to sign uo for the CAA forums which can be found here:

To get into contact with Chicago area teams, In actuality, there are quite a few teams out of the Joliet "Area". Also stop by Aggressive Sports Joliet at 2205 Plainfield road. In addition to thier paintball selection ASJ now sells quite a good selection of AEGs and GBBs, and they plan to host many Airsoft events this season at thier partner paintball fields and they ahve plans to build an airsoft dedicated field, possibly an indoor CQB facility (that info was just thrown out during a conversation I had with the owner).
ASJ is owned and operated by Justin Brown, formerly of CPX.

Yes I have registered on the CAA boards and am waiting for confirmation by the Admin. Also, I have been to AGJ and bought a pistol or two. I will run by there this weekend and ask them about Airsoft in this area. Thank you also if you find anything about Challenge Park, Realms of Ruins, or any other events in the Chicagoland area please PM or IM me on AIM awwyea35. Also, when is this Realm of Ruins event please provide the information I would greatly love to play with all you guys. I had a great time last year at CPX and look forward to more events there and elsewhere. Rob.

breech here from team CIFor,
CIFor has been in contact witht he management over at cpx for some time now, we have talked to joe, head ref and manager, and the first game is scehdled to be on the 10th of april, which is a saturday.
we are already in the works to head down to cpx before the game and give the refs who didn't see them last year a demonstraition of airsoft and go over rules for the games
we are also running scenarios past joe for summer games, expect to see me oc some of them.
realsm of ruin is pretty much just a paintball park and doesn't hold a candel next to cpx's million dollar compound.
excuse the lateness in the reply to new caa membership, we are right in the middle of forming a new concil so things are a bit hectic right now, we have all of your info and will be signing new members up as soon as we can, thanks for waiting.
feel free to contact me with any caa related questions, questions about cpx, or anything else airsoft related
hope to see everybody there on the 10th!

Yeah, I have been to the Challenge Park last year for the June skirmish and if you read Fireteam J's post you might remember us. But, I have been to Challenge Park's site and have seen no mentions of Airsoft. Could you please fill me in on all the details for the next time after April 10th we will be unable to attend because we will be in Florida and miss it. So, could you please tell us when the next event would be but also April 10th if we are able to attend such as times.

April 10th is the day before Easter. There is absolutely no way I could make it. That is an odd time to expect many people to come. Its the day before a major holiday I wouldn't expect alot of people but who knows.
