Hi. I was wondering if anyone knew the exact measurement of a Tokyo Marui AK47 Spetsnaz Beita inner barrel. I am thinking about adding a silencer to one and routing a precision barrel through it.
Thanks, and have a nice day.

After a thorough search of Arnie's Airsoft, I was able to find that the barrel length for the AK-47 Spetsnaz is 230mm. Also, I don't know if you are interested, but I feel like posting it anyways, the total length of the gun is 711mm, the weight is 2.25kg, and the hi-cap holds 250 bbs. :D .
I hope that helps you out!

Thanks, I owna Spetsnaz, and know most of the pecifications. I just wasn't able to measure teh barrel. I plan on measuring my barrel + silencer = Equals Longer Precision Barrel routed into the end of the silencer.
Is it just me, or is this one of the most basic cosmeticv modifications.
It seems in the last month around here, everyone is deciding to get silencers, and string an inner through it.
Well anyway, thanks Nitrous.

No problem at all! I figured that you knew most of the specifications, it was just one of those "just-in-case" type things, lol.
In regards to the Spetsnaz, how is the gun working out for you? I have only had the opportunity to shoot the gun once, and while it was a great gun, I agree that a longer barrel may be necessary.
Actually, the silencer looks pretty cool on the Spetsnaz, just look at Metal Gear Solid:2, that's the rifle that most of the guards throughout the game carry (w/ folding stock).
Pretty sweet gun, and good luck with your new barrel.

I'm stoked, I have calculated all of my upgrades, and isn't going to cost much.
I have a silencer, and it works, so that's free
A precision barrel at Redwolf or my local hobby shop is basically $10 to $20
The bushings I need apparently are 6 to 7 bucks
and the Systema M100 is about $15 so about $50 into my gun, and it will fire alright.
Now for the cosmetics.... Anyone know where I can locate an AK47 RIS scopemount, not that large ugly one that clamps on, but the one that goes onto the upper receiver, and a scope can be put on the RIS rail above it?
Would apprecaite input as always,

KingTiger has taken the barrel from his PSG-1 and out it in his AK-47.
he doesn't know this, but I have taken the barrel from his AK, and put it in my spetsnaz, covering it with a suppressor.
The velocity is great, and the accuracy is awesome.

Is the AKS 74U the same thing as the spetsnaz?

If I am not mistaken, The AK74U is a Krinkov rifle, and is basically identitical, except it has real wood stock and foregrips.
I am not entirely sure if that is correct or not.

the spetznaz is a sort of made up wepon, due to the magazine and full stock. the modern 74s have full sized folding plastic buttstocks or wire/stamped metal folding buttstocks, and the magazine is much slimmer because it uses the 5.45mm amunition. also the magazine is plastic [the early versins used bake-a-lite], and to quote the History channel, "to avoid chipping and scratching when the magazine fell"
anyway, here's alink to a little russian site with a lot of info on real guns

Yeah man just like the first reply said it is 230 mm and I also have a Spetsnaz. I've seen one with a silencer on it, and the guy said it turns out pretty good just because it's already a short gun and you still have a short gun when the silencer is on. I was thinking about getting one, because I hate that gay flash hidder that the gun comes with. I don't know why they would give us something like that to put on the gun.

Well, I for one love the Spetsnaz, and with a silencer, it is still smaller than your average airsoft gun.
I recently routed a G3 barrel through a silencer on my gun.
You'd be surprised how accurate it is now, it trips me out.
Have a nice day,

Actully, Techno, your wrong. To put it bluntly.
A while back on the old AO forums (Before they were hacked and destroyed) there was a big disucssion about them being real guns or not. Well, Yes, They are. They are based off of the AK-100 series with a Krinkov folding stock. It is either the model AK-103 (Since it is mocked to fire 7.62x39mm) or the model AK-104 (It also fires 7.62x39mm) Both models have black synthetic stock to save weight, and for the attachment of acessories (Ever see a wood RIS kit? probably wouldnt work too well.) .
If you doubt me, check out www.ak-47.net.

wood rails would be interesting! but i guess i stand corrected on that :D hey we cant be right 100% right? i was under the impression that the russians gave up on the 7,62mm rounds in thier assult rifles. (could you email me a link to that site when it comes back online? or does it not work for only me?)
edit: heh heh.... i just looked into the AK 10x series, very similar... the barrel extends alittle further than the Spetz, but i think that it proves, to me atleast, its a real gun.
link! http://club.guns.ru/eng/ak100.htm ak 100 series very nice, back to the 7.62!
http://www.ak-47.net/ak47/ak100/index.html - Has the basic background of the AK-100 series.
As far as i've heard, its the AK-10xU (I think 104 or 102?) But the AK-100 series is already up to Ak-163 (Belgium) Dont ask why... I just say it.

I have a spetsnaz and you can buy a good looking scope mount that goes on the front site at aegspecialists.com and is it easy to put an outer barrel on a spetsnaz?? thats was what I have been planing to do but I dont really want to ship my gun in to have it put on

yeah i had a spets and it wasn't very accurate after like 50 feet at all. I've got a G3 now, and it shoots much much better
