View Full Version : Greetings from Iraq!
Hey everyone,
I've been on airsoft ohio before. You may remember me as Cowfur, or The_Joker. Or something to that nature. I used to play with team Punishers back in '06. I ended up joining the Army after highschool. So I haven't been on here in a good minute, nor have I played airsoft. But none-the-less I love the sport. Nothing better, it's an adrenaline rush, where nobody gets hurt, and nobodies mom gets a knock at the door. I am currently serving in Iraq with 4th brigade 2nd ID, 4-9 INF for those of you that aren't too familiar with military lingo it's an infantry unit, I'm also a platoon medic. It's a lot of responsibilty and stress but I do enjoy it. I will continue to post on threads and hope to get to know everyone a bit better. When I get back from iraq i do intend to form another team and look forward to playing with everyone again!
Thanks for serving Doc.
If you were on Punishers, we probably know a few of the same people, though I'm not sure that I have ever met you.
Happy posting.
Probably do, were you ever on our team? or did you just scirmish with us? At any rate, nice to meet ya.

Nope, never was. Didn't play against you guys either, but I was on a team with Spencer, Phil, & Zak. Met Ariel & Sam, and Adam. Currently on a team with Phil, too.

My company B 2/9 was the first to do the manchu mile when the regiment was reactivated in 95. and we did it every month until EIB training, then started once EIB was over I did it about 35 times. It was the "easiest" ahmm mile(wink wink nudge nudge) I ever did lol
Wow, 35 times? Haha, from what everyone says it sure doesnt "easy". Did you like Korea? I'm sure it probably wasn't a very friendly place back then, lol. But from what i hear it's pretty fun nowadays.

It was a great duty station. I liked it alot better than state side. I was there from 89 till 90,Then from 94 till 97, yes thats 3 extensions. Great training and not as much dog and poney shows as stateside. And for those wondering the Manchu Mile is really 25 miles over some pretty good sized mountains. But it was fun.
