Shooting sideways

My gun is shooting .2 plastic Im wondering is it the hop up system that makes it curve to the side or is it the actual bb. Because if it is the gun Ill get a new barrel. and I was shooting from my dining room to the living room to shoot at a target. (dont shoot inside, you will get b****ed at by your gaurdian if still living with parents).

The purpose of the hop up is to counter affect the gravitational pull of the bb to the ground. The point is to tune your hop up until your shots travel straighter, farther. Too much hop up means the bb travels upward in an arcing motion after the bb leaves the barrel.

Tonzo, the most common problem for side shooting is either something is hitting the bb on the way out (i.e. flash hider, outer barrel) or your inner barrel has twisted, which mean the little rubber nub is now sideways.

Try cleaning your barrel. That cured my shooting curved. .22 cleaning patch with a little silicone on it. followed up with a dry patch will do fine.

If it is curving side to side, then its not the hop-up. Might be something in your barrel. Make sure to check that the bb doesn't hit anything when coming out(listen for a sound). If nothing works try switching the barrel.

Thanks for the help. I appriciate it. My gun is new so i dont think anything is in there so ill clean it out. If not I saw a tightbore barrel. Well Im going to walsh farms if anyone is going to there Ill see you there. Im brining that gun and a C11 Ill buy some Mid caps there is anyone is looking to sell some mags.
