Hello ALL,
I would like to take a moment to thanks all the organizations, units and individuals that attend our OPEN HOUSE. With only a two-week notice, we had 30 plus people to the facility.
The day started with a lot of Q&A, which was very helpful to our facility and us. Your input was valued and needed for us to assess the future of AirSoft at our facility. As stated by our staff today (you should understand our biggest hurtle) and we look forward to further input, support, and help in making this hurtle less of a burden!!!
After the Question & Answer time, we moved to the tour of the facility. With the feedback our staff received and over hearing a few conversations, I believe it’s safe to stay that the facility is very unique and that there is very little that can compare to it. The CQB part of the facility was what all excepted and probably a lot more.
We then moved on to a lunch break. After lunch, all attendees geared up. A safety briefing was given and the rest of the day consisted of running and gunning.
We would like to commend those for giving a great effort in what we call “THE TACTICAL MAZE.” Most learned that this is not an area that is taken very easily. Teamwork, communications, and skill were needed to overcome the bad guys. This is truly a no win area. PLEASE remember “NO WIN” is not in our vocabulary and with the proper training, devotion, and skill you CAN and WILL defeat the bad guys!!!
Back to the NO WIN wording and what we see to be true.. “CAN and WILL”. As we spoke with some of the attendees, a large part of this is MINDSET. Those that were there know what I mean.
After the running and gunning, we geared down and back to the classroom for the debriefing and final Q&A. We were privileged to see a 13 minute AirSoft homemade video that one of the attendees made for a college class. NOT sure my friend from GSG9 would approve, but it was very entertaining!!! THANKS for sharing!!!
We learned a lot about Airsoft today and look forward to serving the AirSoft community.
