Well, my girlfriend and I are getting a place in Southern Ohio, down near Portsmouth. I already checked out the maps and all that, but most of the guys on this site aren't on there. I just wanted to get familiar with the people and places to play around there before we move, so I'm not stuck trying to convince a bunch of people to start playing airsoft. The purpose of this thread is just to kind of see who all's down there, and how often you guys play and things like that. I'm hoping maybe there's a little more going on than there was up north.
is cincinati considered that?
if so i am here my fave fields down here are red dragon and valley creek(these are the only ones i have been to) but ya there is a lot of people down here

I am in wilmington and have a private field, for friends and teammates to play. I have been wanting to do a few small games on the weekend maybe 8-10 people. It needs some work but it's nice and secluded.

I doubt I'll be able to make it out to Cincinati very often, but I might be able to make it to Wilmington once in a while. It's going to be a bit before I can play though, because my gun broke down recently, and with the expense of moving, I haven't had the funds for a new one yet. I'm assuming the field is on private property, Sniper?

I also go to most Red dragon games if you ever wanted to hitch a ride.

Cool, that's even better. I'll be in Franklin Furnace, so Portsmouth is probably about as close as I'll find anyone. I'm moving down there in about two weeks, then I've got to work on getting some money together for a new gun. As son as I get everything together, I'll drop you a PM. I'm ging to send you a friend request so I don't have to find you again.
sniper you should definetly hold an open

We play in Chillicothe about every other weekend. We played every weekend last year I believe. That's excluding the weekends we went to other fields. Don't know how far you're willing to drive, but it's right up 23 just before you get to Chillicothe.
I'm also trying to find out where all the fields in WV are. I'm hoping someone on WVairsoft has a map.

That would be good, too. That's not too much of a drive, I should be able to make it out once or twice a month. I should mention, though, that the gun I'll be using is running pretty hot (about 490 fps w/.2's), But I'll have it modded so it's permanently semi-auto. Is that going to be a problem? I figured I should probably make sure before I show up with a gun I can't use lol.

With full auto disabled, you are fine. Field limit is 500fps.

Hello this is my first posting hope i get this right. I will be posting some photos of our private field, its an abandoned 3 floor split level High school in the center of a 100 yard x 100 yard woodland/savana field we dont regulate gun power but our highest is 470fps. So far we have had only 7-8 per side but it keeps growing. When i talk to the rest of our Airsoft Co-op i will post the pictures and maybe be able to invite a few.

First i'll ask where is this, sounds good? Next private = no insurance. 470fps indoors = a need for insurance.

Insurance would make you lower it I'm pretty sure, or they wouldn't cover you.

You actually might be closer to the WVAirsoft guys...alot of them are located out of Huntington...probably about 40 miles or so from Portsmouth.

I've played on Firesupport's field, very cool map. Rules are loose, but securely in place, and differ for those over 18 and those under. General feeling is friendly but competitive, and the field provides a truly singular experience.
