Is homecoming park a public park?

Miyagi, my question exactly? Is this park completely reserved, and closed for airsoft games or will we be shooting around people walking their dogs? I've driven out that way many times, lots of big woods... the map and "park" make me think that this is a public park... not exactly confidence inspiring. If it were completely closed to the public, and proper authorities (police, sheriff, rangers) notified and on-board, you might see me up there it is close to where I live. Scion, can you give a little bit more of a description???

ok to clear things up, yes it is a public park, but the wood we play on sit on the edge and past where the park is. we just park there and walk down the path to the lake and play behind it. We do have permission from the police which is just down the road from the park so they know we play there. We have been playing there for over 5 years now and have not had a problem at all. There are a bunch of ATV and dirt bike trails back there and every now and then you will get some paintballers back there too.

I know that private property is difficult to come by, but public park still isn't too confidence inspiring. I don't want to beat your location to death though. If I ever come up with with a secure location in Henry or Wood County, I'll be the first to let you know. There must be a farmer out there with 100 acres who wouldn't mind being paid $10 a piece from 30 guys for an afternoon.

I don't know why you kiddies feel the need to join a forum and then display your stupidity, later insisting it was your brother posting or you didn't know. In either case, a 2-point Infraction might help convince you to read the sticky'ed posts about what is expected from members.

That being said, thank you for necroposting.

Closed.
