VFC Metal Slide and Frame Quality?

Hi.

I'm looking at getting a VFC metal slide and frame for my TM 1911 MEU. Can anyone give me some feedback as to the quality of this item? How does it compare to the finish of the stock plastic pieces? How is the fitment?

If anyone else has any general experience with VFC, can you give me some idea as to the general quality of their externals?

externally VFCs are very good. Infact I'd say VFC makes some of the most realistic AEGs on the market. They do cut a few corners internally however.

im goin with a ProWin Kimber Warrior Kit.primaraly because of the rail,may cost more but for me its goin to be worth it in the long run.

Out of curiosity:

1. Where are you ordering it from?

2. Will it fit in a SERPA holster like this one? http://www.lapolicegear.com/blsetahobe92.html I heard that railed 1911s won't fit in regular SERPA holsters.

3. Does ProWin make a kit similar to that one, except without the rail?

How difficult would it be to install a metal slide/frame, assuming I have some experience assembling and disassembling the gun?
