Would glasses be able to fit under these?

I always thought those goggles had the screen behind the goggles piece. If it's just a screen that's kinda crazy, sounds more like going out there with holes in your kevlar.

I think with you using glasses, you would be much better off if you just used them with a normal set of goggles, so no mesh to worry about, or problems - which with glasses underneath, reduces that threat greatly, and if you were to use goggles, you get a perfect clear view of vision, you could just cut holes if fogging was that bad, which is becomming a newer thing to do on the foam around it.

I witnessed Blade of Combat Depot shoot a wire mesh set of goggles from Airsoft Atlanta at point blank,(and I mean barrel to the wire) with an APS-2 EX upgraded well to 550 fps and it took three shots (IN THE SAME EXACT SPOT,) to penetrate the wire. These suckers may look different to everyone, but they flippin' work. I mean, what's the chances of getting shot at point blank range from a gun at 550 fps in the same spot three times. Hell, I don't even wear them, I'm just saying what I saw....and I'd trust it.

I would say that if it even penetrated the googles at all, then they area a failure. It basically means that they are not durible googles and over time the will become weak. seems a bit to dangerous to me.

Plus if you're layin on the ground or something and get dirt in your eye through the mesh, you'd likely have to take your mask off if it's severe enough. So that really ruins that as you'll either take it off in the middle of the feild through natural reaction or have to walk back to the safety areas and wash your eye out.

What I explained pretty much covers everything that you said Texx. If it didn't penetrate the mesh, or split, or do whatever after two shots in the same place, than it would withstand anything. No goggles are going to last forever. AND who the heck shoots anyone in the face at point blank range, let alone with a stock gun, (which is over 51% of what I've seen at events,) at a range of 20 or so feet?
I'm really not condoning these goggles. I'm just saying that a lot of whoop la about who likes this and who likes that is about the same conversation about which are better, CA or TM?...and that gets real old. Players should be let known what works and what doesn't. I felt to mention my witnessed action on the wire mesh so people could actually hear what these goggles are made of, not if I think they're awesome or not.
Thing is, I suppose in the beginning, I got away from the actual point by making my off the cuff comment. You can wear glasses under the wire mesh....it fits great....and I recommend it!...
>and you'll have to excuse me, I've worn glasses my whole life, so things hitting my eyes, or getting in my eyes is more rare than a Cong at a Veterans cookout.....So, I suppose I'm biased to the point of not caring about eye safety as I've never feared it. Whoops,
Thanks for the memories,

right now i play with springers, we're moving to gas soon, but I think they're definately safe for stock springers and gas pistols, and even stock aegs. If what Grifter says is true, I trust these things.
I don't play with anyone who uses 550 fps guns, but it should be safe for most (or all) games.

Man, you like direct quotes,.......I'm just calling what I saw. For the matter of analyzation being unhealthy, you take the cake. My replie #'s under my name are low for a reason, I hate to banter. I guess I lost interest in this thread for the degree of competition between who prefers what. I joined Airsoft to get away from the notion of competitive sports......glasses fit, and that's what the guy asked, that's what I should've plainly said.
That's me,
