Alright may 10 th sunday is an airsoft only day at battlefront paintball. Let's get the votes in and we'll get it posted in the events section.
Remember it's important to the success of the org to encourage all team members / new teams/ soloplayers to attend.

Hey all,
Just was talking to John via PM about some things. I have talked to Dave at BF about setting up Mil-Pro's next game at BF on May 10th. So far to my knowledge it has been confirmed, he is just waiting for us to give him more details. We were planning on having this as a bigger operation, since it has been 4 months since our previous one. After that we wanted to start doing the type of games I talk about below.
To give you guys a little behind the scenes knowledge of what Mil-Pro was planning:
Having a bigger style operation every 3-4 months (The Sunday after a Paintball Operation there at BF). No more two day Ops so that we can keep our costs low and therefore the price low. The price will probably be roughly $30-35 for our normal bigger style op.
The other thing we were wanting to do was to have Free Open-Play days once a month inbetween the bigger ops. (Free as in we charge nothing. Players would only have to pay the field fee) So realistically there would be 1 big op every 3-4 months and then open play once a month between the ops.
We were looking to have better organized and more planned out scenario wise than just typical open play days would.
What I was thinking, is if we all work together, we could pull off some really awesome open play games at BF with everyone's help. This will help boost the surrounding communities, get more people out to play, and enhance the quality of game play we enjoy as a community.
Sorry for the book... lol John and I think that it may be best to have some sort of Ventrillo meeting and or phone convo just to make sure everything is conveyed correctly. Sometimes things get misconstrued on the net. :(
Anyways, please post up your thoughts.

Yes basically there is a slight schedule conflict for the 10th of may. Rather than move the 3 month open i thought angus would talk to you all about attending their game (same place). We're still getting a little used to the new schedule at battlefront.
I know i would benefit as there would be more people to play with / against. Including alot of our newly found pa brothers. As well, we might be able to sign up on the same side for more fun.
To sum it up there is now an operation at battlefront the 10th of may (sunday). angus will keep us informed of further details. We're looking to see if there is cause to change the open date?
Does anyone have thoughts? Or are we good to go? I welcome others to start some polls.
Sidd: it would be an all day deal. The sundays following battlefronts monthly event days will be airsoft days moving forward.. a little different. Hence the schedule conflict.
also as fox said.. it's mothers day.

OK mothers day is not a real holiday. so there should be no conflict, just my thoughts. buy her something nice, and then go kick some *** in airsoft. Lets get this game rolling, i want to go back to BF!! Sorry i missed the poll, but consider most of my guys in. Also any big events you want to set up, angus or john talk with us too, we will help, we have the man power...

Uhhh.... How about Saturday? Because the whole point of Mothers Day is to, oh i dont know... Be with her. Or is Saturday taken for paintball?
Alright this open is to remain scheduled as is. The day is reserved for an event so there will be a 30 dollar cover to get in(right angus) but there should be quite a few people there.
It is not required that you sign up on a particular side for this day.

Agreed, if you cant go because of it, then you gotta do what you gotta do, hey it sucks that it fell on that day, but none of us own the field so beggars cant be choosers. keep me posted

Only once a month?! Last summer, me and my friends managed to get a game in just about every week.
Oh well :/
It would be cool too have a two day operation there though...

Unfortunately, paintball brings in more income for battlefront, so we are only getting 1 day, for now, lol. Also a two day event was there, and it was very costly for the group of people to run it, so dont look for future multi day events there, unless a rich person hosts the game.

Don't count BattleFront out of hosting 2-day events all together, there is quite the possibility there will be more in the future.

Consulting with dave the owner will go a long way in working out HOW to host airsoft events at battlefront. Remember the owner encourages us and wants us there. Understand that battlefront is primarily a scenerio based paintbll field. In that light they take heat for not speed balling. Sounds familiar to anyone?
In reality he'd probably make more money using speedball because of the gas and paint spent.
Remember that the previous airsofters before you ie ME (oh yea) DMAN FOXTROT AND ALL THE PLAYERS have set an example for airsofters at this field. hosting a two day event is not impossible if you listen to daves options he gives you regarding when to host your event.
He does make huge considerations for us to be there.
I would expect more two day events at battlefront. Possibly even this year.

Just a heads up that "No Tears" has been post poned for reasons out of our control. It will be re planned here at some point once some things settle down. With that said, I wanted to see if we could all get together and put on a really awesome open play at BF on this day? I am sure between all of us, we could produce a better game than a typical "open play" and make it sorta like a small scale operation with more of a milsim feel to it. (Maybe get everyone away from the city? lol)
Anyways, please post up some thoughts. Sorry if maybe this was mentioned in the thread above, I just jumped on real quick to post this before I went to bed and didn't get to catch up reading everything.

I'm still down for just an open play on this date.....anything is better than nothing IMO
If we can still restrict it to Milsim type and get away from the city more and make it more "open" to the woods and city. It could be really fun

I'll be there probably +1 as long as the Mother figure doesn't decide to drop in from out of town.

Ronin will be there, and if any props, roleplayers, or help is needed we will help run a game or 2 during the day, and if we could please stay away from the city i think it would be more fun, than team A hides in the city while team B attacks, if anything i think pistols and shotguns only in the city would be BA :D

I agree with ghost. lets run some scenarios that will make use of the whole field. it will be fairly grown by then so bring a compass.

John, we going to get a Event Page up so we can see who is all going, and settle all questions on what time to show up, pay......etc
Why: 2 reasons
1. The NEO area has a great deal of talent; but not an excessive amount of players. This should help us find a greater local return on our airsoft investment.
2. To create a community attitude towards airsoft instead of us vs them.
