View Full Version : Props
Since these open games are to be hosted by the organization i think it'd be a good idea to see what props we have available.
RTA: Generic bombs, trip lines, radar dishes, i think battlefront will let us use their mortar guns, we can bring parachute flares if notified.
If you guys need a prop built just let me know, I have been building props and stuff since before I found airsoft. Just let me know what you want, and how much you are willing to spend.

We also may be able to assist if something specific needs to be built.

this may sound dumb, but i am going to attempt to build a howitzer... not as a prop, but as a functioning weapon. i have all the plans laid out just need the money to build a prototype, then the real deal. We also have various props, pipe bombs, biohazard bins, computers (id like to see airsoft get more technical), smoke machines, we are buying a Ma Duece, so that be nice in the church
awesome. i'd love to help with the howitzer

I'm a machinist so anything you need made I can do for you. Sheet metal is kinda difficult on the equipment I have available but anything else is gravy.

TSL uses mock russian missles as a prop sometimes. My bro did a good job building them.

You aren't off to a good start on this forum. This is your first post and you are attacking/ trying to defame a very well established airsoft player. Not a good move if you plan on taking airsoft seriously.
Hold on uni, he's got a point :p
:cool:JK
seriously let's set a day/time etc next month to build this howitzer.
Nitro driven
use the same old nerf rockets
a stopper so it cannot be put lower than say 45 degrees
run it at 200-250 psi
we should get 2 1/2 football fields out of it for sure.
It's all about the tight bore. how much are 40.01's these days?

Realistically I could bore out the barrel for a nice fit. Be it PVC or aluminum. Those nerf rockets with the tails are about, say 2 inches in diameter. It wouldn't be hard at all for me to bore that diameter 15 inches deep. Get me some material or moneys for material and it will happen.

I could probably get permission to let us use the props that MilPro has access to as well. 8) Currently not too much, but in the future we will be getting much more than we have.
that'd be awesome unicorn. think springfield artillery guns only they work.. scary stuff.

I actually was thinking of using the full size vortex footballs... but the mini's are a little under 2" in diameter, but this howitzer project is gonna cost a pretty penny... and i was hoping to get it to go about 2 1/2 football fields like john said, or maybe farther, lol :D

Rap4 makes a new bazooka. It will fire nerf Vortex balls, but you need to wad them with white-bread. It's pretty dern nifty.
The only bad part is that where the air tank is connected it looks a little weak, a better design would include a sheath over that area.
