So alot of you may be wondering "why this new section" and "what's this NEO thing all about"
The Mission: Organize teams/solo players in the NEO area for four purposes.
1. Meet once every three months at battle front paintball (www.battlefrontpaintball.com) to share the sport of airsoft.
2. Attend one Ohio event per year on the same side.
3. Organize a group of friends to emphasize a more community approach to airsoft. Also, to encourage others to participate.
4. To organize a community of teams that can operate well at an event.
Who: Everyone who wishes to participate. Many teams have signed on in the NEO area. There are also teams in the Western Pa area. If you feel you are able to participate and meet the above 4 purposes? We'd love to have you.
Why: 2 reasons
1. The NEO area has a great deal of talent; but not an excessive amount of players. This should help us find a greater local return on our airsoft investment.
2. To create a community attitude towards airsoft instead of us vs them.
How: Most of the hard decisions have been worked out(see mission 1-4). All other decisions will be done by polling. No one vote greater than the other. If there is something you'd like to see happen then please start a poll. 2/3 vote will be required to win.
NEO operators will NOT
1)Attempt to split the NEO area away from Airsoft Ohio or the greater ohio community.
2)Attempt to use NEO forums or community to manipulate or control other airsofters and teams.
3)Solicit other teams players. If that player wishes to join your team then they should contact YOU at which point, you have satisfied this rule.
4)Harass other NEO members into participating in something. Unless it relates to one of the 4 missions. At which point it is encouraged and this rule is satisfied. :)
The above ideas have been taken from a group of team leaders whom have expressed interest already. if you wish to moderate this forum then do so by nominating yourself and starting a vote.
