First off, you can not be inviting people to play at your field because of insurance liablities. You would have to have them sign a waiver. If someone got seriously hurt, you could be taken for everything you have in court.

Depending on your operation, you may have to register to pay taxes because you are technically a business.

nubian, you do organize events or something?
Dbyler, first off, yes you can invite people on your field, with or without insurance or waivers. The thing you need to know though is you will be responsible for whatever happens to your guests. Many fields or person play without proper insurance waivers and also take the risk of possible lawsuit. Being said, even a waiver will not protect you if a good lawyer is really after you. Not trying to discourage but you better know before moving forward.
From there, you can do several things such as becoming a non-profit organization, full business, stay without a business and accept donations, etc.
IMO, If you truly want to get involve, seek some professional help, not airsoft players on community website.
