m16/sr16 are thay compatable

i have an m16 that i have upgraded to 380fps,and a new sr16,its still stock. i was wondering if i could take the m16 lower halve and the sr16 upper recever and combine them into 1 gun .ie have the upgraded m16 internials and have the sr16 rail system,and shorter berral put togeather and halve a stock m16. thay are both tm guns

Seems possible to me...not real big on internals, but if they are all in the lower receiver, then it wouldn't hurt the SR's upper receiver, since its stock.

Oh well, someone else should take this.

Dan, all we have to do is swap gear boxes. You COULD just swap out the upper and lower recievers, but the SR has a darker colored reciever than the M16, so the two colors would look bad :p

I'll swap the boxes for you, it would be the best solution.
