View Full Version : Just plain WRONG
No. We are just a group of mates who play in the metroparks and a CQB field. We play at Webb Park sometimes too.

No, it's never a good idea to have a weapon or anything close to it in a public area. Never do anything like that in a public area, it gives airsoft a bad name, and can lead to you get arrested on weapons charges.

I hope you're kidding.
When I think of "What's going to kill airsoft" this is exactly what I think of. Kids playing in public parks and getting the police called on them. It's only a matter of time before another person gets hurt because of these stupid, reckless attitudes.

I stopped anyway. People won't play if you have an electric gun or a gas powered or anything over 350 fps. I know amazing. But back on topic so we don't get infractions. Welcome CCCP to AO.
Welcome to AO, NEVER, EVER! Take your airsoft gun out in public like that, it can get you in a whole lot of trouble if people do not see the orange tip, even still, a lot of trouble :D :D :D

If you warned them against doing something dumb, dangerous, and illegal, then why would you join them?

That was before I found out it was illegal. You be amazed how many people get injured or break there gun and start complaining.

Did it cross your mind once that it could be a bad idea to play where other people could see you? Serioulsy if they're your freinds stop them so they don't really get hurt by REAL guns! Get them to stop now, and if they wont listen to you at least notify the local PD that they're not real guns.

In the woods where not alot of people go? No it never crossed my mind, until i started reading about cases where people with airsoft guns got shot. Also we never played where people could see us. Side's I think where banned from the Mariemont woods. But now people go play in the Fairfax woods where NO joggers go. People play airsoft down there and no one notices. The cops know that people play airsoft. I don't care if some of the people get arrested, because ALOT of people need to be. The amount of stupidity is amazing. It makes me wonder why some of the kids have guns.

Playing in a public area or a field without the knowledge of the owner is illegal and will result in only horrible results. This issue was addressed and those wayward souls informed.
Please play responsibly and within the rules of the area in which you chose to play. If not you may not like what happens.

wow, way for everyone to ripp on the new kid.....i think he got the idea that it is illegal like the first two or three times it was said. welcome to AO
Strongly pushing the fact that something is illegal, end of story, takes a higher priority then making friends. Making sure that airsoft survives is the highest priority of this community, and by making sure none of our members do illegal activities with airsoft weapons is the first foot on the ground.

What,omg...just reading this makes me worry about the younger generations..seriously. I'm almost 21 and this screams stupidity to me. I agree with everyone whose said playing in public areas is not smart for a host of reasons:
1. illegal
2. great way to get the police called on
3. Someone might shoot you and that someone might be a police officer or a scared person.
4. You make those of us who strive to maintain excellence in our sport look bad by making our sport look bad by making bad news about our sport. That's a great way to see a push to ban airsoft replica guns except those in my mind that are probably see through, if not completely banned.
CCCP, now welcome to AO. Please play safe

I don't care if some of the people get arrested
I would just like to point out the huge problem with this comment. If THEY get arrested it looks bad on US, so we all should care if they get arrested and there is nothing we can do about it but try to tell our friends and the new players which is why we are not picking on the new guy, we are fighting a constant battle to keep our sport safe and legal.
