I'm surprised that this information would be published to a consumer website, especially considering Systema's stance on not selling the MIL/LE PTW's to consumers. Of course Kumi might not care right now considering the recession, and might be looking to offload additional inventory to the consumer market. Anyway, it will be interesting to see if MIL/LE PTW's start filtering into the consumer community.

Darkstar,

What is the difference between the MIL/LE PTWs and the consumer model that is popular right now?

Blue training pistol grip.

A or B markings on the under side of the receiver.

so internally mechanically there are not durability or performance differences?

I fail to see what the big difference is then? couldn't some one just pain the blue on or paint over it?

Not a big difference, I think the surprise is more that exclusive LE distributor would be marketing the LE versions in the consumer market, when there is already a US exclusive distributor for the consumer market....

There are a lot of rumors over the 'finish' quality of A & B markings vs. the typical C markings that consumers get.

In the end, I really don't believe there is. However, it's the same as the 'hand tuned at the factory' that max's get vs. just put together at the factory that the regular PTWs get.

As for the blue pistol grip, sure. Just for LE they want it blue to mark it as a training gun. Ala blue / red guns.

However, as Darkstar said - These guns are supposed to be marked for LE/Mil sale only. I'm not too sure how Wallace is going to take this if they are selling LE/Mil guns to civi's.

Other difference I have seen through some readin is the Mil/LE mags are 30rds only and they are tuned to have a slower ROF to be closer to the real weapon. Outside of that I am not 100% sure but think I have read they come with a different spring but oh well. Now I go back to my little hole waiting to spring up with random bits of info.

There has never been any intention, nor will there be, to sell the MIL/LE line to any gamer. However, we do understand that gamers do know prior, or active duty military and or law enforcement individuals who do participate in air soft gaming.

In addition, we are marketing the MIL/LE product to forums that cater to those who like to play air soft as we understand that those that play air soft, as a game, may also be, or may have been, military, law enforcement or of the training community.

Wallace should have no concerns about stepping on his toes. That is not the intention. Our posting has nothing to do with the recession but has everything to do with the fact that we can actively promote a product.

If any gamer on the site who reads this needs parts for their PTW, please contact us. We stock over $50,000 of parts that will work in your civilian PTWs.

"There has never been any intention, nor will there be, to sell the MIL/LE line to any gamer. "

im guessing something here smells a lil fishy ?you advertise on here for a product line you just said is clearly NOT available to the john jane and every other schmo out who plays the game.
Yes here comes my point why advertise something that quite a few people here cant or wont be able to purchase because of no Mil/LE status ? or is this one of my " issues" agian ?

"In addition, we are marketing the MIL/LE product to forums that cater to those who like to play air soft as we understand that those that play air soft, as a game, may also be, or may have been, military, law enforcement or of the training community."

ummm agian did i miss something here or ? did i just miss the the short bus agian ?

Ozz, long and short is yes, you did miss the conversation.

Systema's distribution is set up much differently then regular airsoft manufacture's due to their specific marketing into the LE/Mil market.

And, no problem at all Centilla. Glad to have you on the boards.

If he says he's here to make sales to LE and Military, there is no rule against him doing that. Nor are the weapons he's selling illegal to civilians.

Everyone back off, or consequences will occur...
