are electric blowbacks any good? i know they have just abou the same range of a mini electric, but thats all i need, im looking for some really close cqb, and my m-16 wont be very forgiving doing point blank shots:eek: (ouch) and is there any glock electric blowbacks? i dont want gas, because i've had a bad experience with the can before.

I dont know about the glock ebb. But I have had to go through 4 M92s before I got one that worked. I really think that they are junk!! You might wanna try just a mini or something!!

I would find a Mini electric more useful :(
At least with those you get full auto...
EBBs are bad for many reasons. Underpowered, no upgrades or replacement parts, expensive for what they are, have a very un-satisfying "slide-back", extra mags are next to non-existant...and the list goes on...

Yeah I would steer clear of EBB's. Their fun to play around with, but not very helpful in a game. The minis look a little better. However, you might want to consider these (http://www.airsoftairsoft.com/cgi-bin/store4/AA016.html) too. Their Half-size, sull auto M-16's. I just got mine in yesterday and it works decent, especially for only being $ 15 or so. THey hold about 100-120bbs in the main compartment, and the magazine come out and can be used to store 130bb's to store for later. The performance isn't to impressive, but probly as good or a little beter than my friend EBB DE. If you were looking for something different, you may want to consider this or the full-Auto Robo Cop pistols. They're both cheap, full autos that can be fun and probly pretty decent for CQ fighting.

ive already got a mini elctric, and it is decent, when is was new, the spring gets weak fast on it real fast, and im looking for something more realistic. if there isnt anything good, i might have to get a gas.

A rubber knife would get you more kills in a game than an EBB ever would. Because really, you'd have to be at the same range to initiate either one of them, and at least with the rubber knife, you know you've got accuracy.
EBBs are found to be a waste of money later on down the line (like after you open up the package). If you save for one of the cheaper Toyko Marui gas pistols, you'll thank yourself as soon as you get it.

I had to buy 4 guns and only one worked. Im not ganna say where from but it lasted about 3 maybe 4 days untill I trough it at a wall, then i was picking up many junk parts.

I'm taking it the gas can in mention killed someone close to you and thats why you'd like to steer clear of them altogether.
Nothing could make me go from my KWC (why buy WA when you're tight on a budget and could save a little bit more and get a new AEG) to an EBB. Nothing.
Why not just get a springer for that matter.
And if its fps/power you're worrying about using your M16 in CQB (I'm assuming here that its a TM AEG), then get a TM velocity reducing thing, or whatever those are. I guess one could work.

from what i have heard (i dont have one so take my word as a grain of sand), ebbs are pretty much only good for putting out a lot of rounds at a time, but you will most likey miss the target, the batterys will run out or it will break on you.

EBBs are excellent at exactly what they are designed for- giving asian kids (as in kids in Asia, i'm not making a racist comment here) who have little to no access to real guns, the ability to have a functioning replica of their favorite firearm on a budget. they are not really for the skirmish as we know it.

My buddies and I started with minis, moved up to include springers, and are slowly making the shift to gas guns. We also only recently got wind of an actual field where this game is plauyed. we were playing on undeveloped land before. (some of us, like myself are moving towards an AEG soon) I would recommend this process if you don't live near other gamers or have no money and wish to find out if this sport is really for you. Minis are fun, even hilarious to use in games. Also, you never know when a springer comes in handy, for those quick springer pick up games or plinking, or harassing racoons. A GBB or NBB is always great as a sidearm, and I feel they are very satisfying in terms of skill- you can't spray and pray with them. You have to pick your shots, and your fieldcraft will improve over someone who just bought an AEG and started right away- though I guess you could argue that using aspringer first is the best way to gain fieldcraft.
do what you like and can afford, but if you are looking for a sidearm, i'd say try a gas gun, and there are too many recomendations for me to generalize here.
