Turning a M4A1 into a sinper

What do recomend for upgrades and diffrent scopes.
He also was thinking about putting an M16 inner and outer barrel on the gun.He also wanted a silencer.

That scope is the ACOG replica, I own one and there should be some reviews posted about it on the site here.

One thing I'd mention, if he uses a mask, it might be difficult to get a clear sight picture using this scope on the weaver rail. Instead, you can remove the two screws that hold the scope to the mount, and fit it directly onto your carry handle, and it will be much easier to sight through.

Upgrades are subjective.. sure, you can do the "I need a 500fps sniper rifle" thing, but unless you have a lot of room, thats going ot be wasting money, as I'm sure anybody that gets hit at close ranges with that powerful of a gun is going to have issues with it. I've also read that extreme velocity upgrades on AEG's cause dependability issues..

A decent tightbore barrel, bushings, a moderate spring, and you'll be fine. (Plus, you could save a considerable amount of money by selecting another scope, the ACOG looks really nice, but I'm not sure I would have purchased one if I had the chance ot check one out personally before ordering one.)

Well actually my brother write this thead (im the real M4A1Gunner). I was actually gunna just gunna boost his fps, put a scilencer on it and run a new inner barrel through it. i was also thinking putting the M16 outer barel on it.

And i know about the ACOG my friend has one, yea masks are bad for it but you can put it on the carrying handle

Ah, so the truth comes out :) . He has big dreams for his gun, eh? I don't reccomend putting the M16 inner barrel because you won't be able to take off the silencer without the gun looking fugly. Variety is the spice of life. Some games he may want it on, some he may want it off. In close quarters a silencer makes the gun awfully long, but in long rage games, the extra accuracy will be good. See what I mean? But of course, obviously, this is all up to your brother...... :D

Wow! I have had my ACOG for over three month and I NEVER knew it could be removed and mounted on the carrying handle without any mounts. I can now somewhat use the scope with a mask, but just to anyone out, the ACOG is more for looks then actually use. Infact the relief is so bad that you have trouble getting the full image even with only goggles on. And by the way, i am M4a1gunner's friend with the ACOG.

Well... I thought not of putting the M-16 barrel on it just the a silencer and new inner barrel. Cause it would be easy to change from a sniper to rifle man. (not on the field 2 min) The areas that we play up here are not cqb at all. Besides the barn that i own.

He needs more fps so i was thinking 350-400 with a new spring, bushings, and im not sure what else? ??piston,gears??

Well, in my personally opinion... I'd just go with a FTK just for the simplicity of it, though you dont get to pick your parts or any thing like that.. But it has basiclly every thing you need, except you need a new spring and tightbore barrel.

But, if you dont want to do that for cost reasons, I'd do this:
CA Re-enforced mech box
Systema Standard Ratio Gears (Not nessacary... but you might want them.)
PDI 150% spring Or PDI 170% Spring, or systema m120, or guarder what ever... So many people make springs. (depends on what FPS you want)
Systema/Guarder Who ever Polycarb Piston and Piston head
Systema Spring guide
Systema/CA/Guarder Etc.. Bushings
Systema BS inner tightbore barrel

The PDI 150% will put you around 370-380 Supposivly with all that. The PDI 170 will put you in the 390-400+ Area, so will the Systema M120.
