2009 Tactical Challenge: OPFOR wanted

Hidden Ranch (Springfield) is looking for Opposing Forces (OPFOR) for an upcoming event in 2009. Few criterias I am looking for:
- Must be honest and safe player.
- Must have respect for the game.
- Must be a group of 6 or more.
- Must have standard equipment and/or procedure.
- Must be used to play together.
- Must be interested to be shot at all day.
- Must be interested to accomplish any given tasks, whether it is a live fire duty or static positions such as referee, static target, etc.

I am working on that. It is all depending on how fast I can finish the challenges details and how fast I can get the OPFOR ready to roll. It will be announced several weeks/months before the event.

Loki, Being OPFOR shall be very minimal in term of cost. I am working on sponsorship and field owner to reduce fees as much as we can. The competing players will be the one paying the most obviously.

Hell ya im in for sure ive had real time experience in real world situations up untill about 2005 in iraq afghansitan ....so would be more then happy to help with ANY opfor situations any kind of equipment/uniform requirements ? and as far as expense long as its reasonable id say i could get at least 1 more regular with me

Red, you have few more months to come up with 6 OPFOR men or you can always do the same but compete...still 6 men.

Ozzclan, right now, requirements are still classfied as we are tweaking several things. the only thing I can say is the OPFOR teams will need matching BDUs, various reliable weapons, and a will to provide professional support and challenge to the competing teams.

Preliminary numbers would suggest 6 to 8 OPFOR teams. Competing teams will be 6-8 minimum but we did not set a maximum yet.

FTS and Sidd, would you guys mind if I jumped in on that? Maybe we could throw a SOP together really quick and all make a squad for the event. I've played with you guys before and I think we could all put our heads together for something.

That is of course pending the rest of my team still being busy. Actually on this note, I could be open to any group that would need an extra body.

Way to make me feel bad Sidd. You know I would let you borrow the P90 whenever you wanted, I'm not totally heartless, just whats there happens to be a little black;)
I'll try to get at least 1 other person with me in marpat if some team needs more guys, my buddy and I can conform to most battle styles and tactics with relative ease.

Kaiser, it will be combat mission style indeed. We did combat mission #1 and #2 back in 2002 and we are not starting over with a much better field to accomplish the job.
