Ok so i have had my ps3 sitting around for like god knows how long waiting to get fixed. I talked to sony its out of the warrenty and needs to be sent in, it will cost about 150 dollars to fix but everytime i get 150 i need to fix something in my car or get some airsoft garbage that i actually could live without. with that said id like to see if i can sell or trade it. the harddrive motor burnt or wore out in any respect it wont spin the disks and thats the problem.

what you get

60GIG ps3
1 controller
power cord
regular TV connectors

price 350

PS3 versions.

40gig PS2 playable = Software emulation. It had the graphics processor from the PS2 on the board, but not the actual processor. Low backward compatibility. DISCONTINUED
60gig PS2 playable = Hardware emulation. It had both processors from the ps2 built onto the board. This is the best method as it will play over 95% of the ps2 games. DISCONTINUED
80gig PS2 playable = software emulation again. Low backward compatibility. DISCONTINUED.
80gig PS2 playable = No software/Hardware emulation. Backward compatibility is REMOVED. Currently being sold.

However, PS2 backward compatibility may/may not appeal to all members as a feature worthy of a high price. Also, as with AEG Sales, when an individual sells a broken gun the value goes down considerably. Why? Because without knowing 100% sure what is really broken, the buyer assumes a risk in finding out that the repair is considerably more than the seller has anticipated.

right but i know for a fact is the disk drive the motor has died and it needs a new one, that is all. just the motor but alas this is proving to be a bigger problem than anything so i will just keep it as i have the money to fix it now.

i know but it seems that there is little interest in it and i might as well just fix it and possibly repost it.

Personally, I'd say leave it. A few Senior Members have outlined that it is worth what you're asking for it. He won't be the only one that has that opinion, especially if they don't know there's a difference.

I would suggest ebaying it. selling non airsoft items on a airsoft site is kinda like trying to sell pants to fish, it not something there are looking for here.

Or you might want to see about joining a PlayStation hobby forum just to sell it
