I think the RAS system (pictured below) would look really cool on the G36. The G36 is going to be the next airsoft gun I buy after I get an MP5 AEG and SR15 AEG from a good freind of mine. I think the RAS system would add a kick-a$$ futuristic look to the already futuristic weapon. I keep seeing conflicting views on it's availability. Is it still on preorder or has it already come out? If it's already out and some of you might have one on your G36, do you like it? What do you think of it and how does it hold up? I appreciate the feedback. Thanks, all.

yeah it loks pretty cool- the british guy in the second Tomb raider had like this wicked tricked out modular black g36- that would help achieve the badazzitude of the guns in the movie (which otherwise was pretty lame in MO)
however those of you who are as yet uncertain should recall that the G36 alread has a rail on the bottom front and on top of the huge rail on the top, and this looks like an awesome upgrade more for cosmetics than actual functionality. correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, you're probably right about the cosmetic . That grill-type thing kinda provides it with a futuristic look that you'd expect to see Ripley and the Colonial Marines using. :D That's what I like about the G36, it's already futuristic and cool-looking and it's already got rails. This just sorta... gives it extra aesthetic umph. So what's it's status on availability? Do you know, by chance?

If/when they make a full length RAS forearm for the G36 series, I'd buy one simply to be the icing on the cake for an underslung AG36. :) The real steel foregrips used in conjunction with the AG36 are almost completely vented and tyhese RAS kits would be able to achieve a similar look. :)
