Yeah..well...topic kinda says what I'm wondering..right? What's the difference between a Systema Tappet Plate and an Area 1000 Tappet Plate?

The Systema Tappet Plate and the Systema Area1000 Tappet Plate are one and the same. The difference is packaging! The Area1000 is just cheaper due to the packaging. So get the Area1000 and save a few bucks. :)

There is, however, a significant difference in spring guides.

Systema (Standard) - polycarbonate guide with metal bearing
Area 1000 - brass guide with plastic bearing

Both work well.

Thanks for that enlightenment! I have had experience with the standard spring guide, but as of yet have not had to deal with the Area1000 spring guide. :)
