Well where do I start with this piece? The Marui 552 has more plastic in it than a Doc Johnson product… Not that this is bad, it’s a sturdy piece of plastic, and is satisfying to hole, like the previously mentioned Doc Johnson products. For its size, it still gets the job done, and spits out white stuff like there is no tomorrow, I highly doubt it will quit on me for awhile… Err, back to the 552 though.
You may have seen the 552 around, from the ultra realistic CS, which has inspired children to call everyone and everything gay, or one of the many other words referring to same sex people, and molest small animals at an alarming rate. You might have also seen it in movies, such as Ronin, The 10 Commandments, Schindler’s List, Saving Private Ryan, and Dirty Coeds volumes 4, 5, 8, and 12.
Its been constructed fairly solid, you could club anything, from baby seals to navy seals. You could whack the hell out of them, and your grub screw would probably back out. If this happens, lube everything, hose the gun down like you were Peter North, remember, every problem in airsoft relates to not enough lube.
The gun comes with realistic trade marks:
Manufactured by Heckler & Herstal
Caliber 7.62x54r
The cartridges are faithfully represented in the clip, all 48 of them, manufactured of a zinc alloy, just like real bullets are, most impressive.
The 552 hasn’t changed very much from its predecessor, the AR-180 which was used by the Waffen SS extensively in the battle for the Genevia Convention Center in 1972, and later in 1989 to rescue Fred Willard from Canadian extremist hookers. You can see that it shares some similar features with the AR-180 and Marui has done an incredible job replicating them!
By the power of Greyskull, I would say that this piece is worthy of skirmishing, and should provide a new level to bedroom games when I play vaginal terrorist with the mistress. I have tested this gun on the field with several teammates, John Goatse, Betty Tubgirl, and Bob Diddlers, they all made quite a mess of the gun, but agreed that it is definitely another winner in the Marui lineup.
If I had the chance to buy this, or another gun, I would still take the 552, Marui has really been on the ball, and I’m looking forward to their other releases if they continue to go the same way, remember, if it doesn’t fit, work, move, or look right, lube it, and lube it GOOD.
