Does anyone that lives around me have a legal field or place I can play my first match and show me the ropes, I really want a backyard game before I goto battlefront.

oh and ive been talking to the battlefront manager if we can get a good number of people going steadily he might start doing airsoft events, he said when he tried before people would say they had mass amounts and nobody would go.

From what people say and from what the site says they have a pretty good field.

My location is in my profile, if you dont know where it is you probley dont live by me being its one of the larger dead cities. And if anyone has any hand-me-down BDU's or any kind of camo could you send em my way? I can fit just about anything because im really thin, and im about 6ft.

Thanks guys hope to hear from you soon,
Cody

You're kind of going about this stuff bass-ackwards dude..

Why would you want to think about getting involved with hosting airsoft events if you've never even played in an airsoft event? Honestly, by contacting the owner of Battlefront, you're probably not doing much good. There have been a couple events planned for that place this year that didn't happen for various reasons, but thats really got nothing to do with you getting out on the field and getting your first exposure to this game/sport.

There are a lot of folks on this forum that are primarily backyard players, and to be brutally honest, you'll have more fun if you don't waste your time doing the same thing. Get involved with this stuff at a realistic level, what I mean is: don't worry about going to an event and not having any idea whats expected of you. You can ask questions here, and typically people will come forward and say "yeah, just show up and we'll hang together at the op." stuff like that. It's better tolearn this stuff the right way, instead of wasting time doing it in the backyard, and then having to unlearn all that stuff at a real airsoft game.

There have been informal games going on at Battlefront for quite a while. I believe the 08th EU still goes out there, RTA usually has one game out there a month, and there have been some other folks more recently putting games on out there on weekdays.

Battlefront is the closest place that would be "fully legal" and insured that you'll be able to play at.
