I'm thinking about getting this gun, yet in all the posts about uhc mp5-sd3's (there are way to many) people have said that its the best springer rifle there is, i thought that tm being tm, theres would be the best? Help!!!

TM's ARE the best. People say that UHC MP5 SD3's are the "best bang for your buck", not the best springer. I've heard Tokyo Mauri springers have twice the power of the UHC MP5, so if you feel like forking over $120 for a springer, go with the XM.

ok thanks, and also, i was reading the asr forums, and some guy said it was possible to mod the aeg mags to work in the xm, that would be great as ive heard bad things about the regular mags, anyways, is this possible?

Im getting a Marui Spring Xm177e2.. somewhere in the mail. But when you think about 120.00 + 10-20 dollars shipping, your spending around$ $140.00. Its enough money for you to save for an aeg. I made the mistake of buying a Tokyo Marui Glock 17 for 70.00 + an extra mag for 24.00 and then my XM for 120. So I've spent about 214.00 dollars already. If i were you just save your money for an aeg, but the Marui spring rifle line is the best springers out there.

Maybe i should *sigh* i just don't wan't to spend that much and then not use it because nobody here plays airsoft. But maybe i could get somebody to play, the only person who plays here is my cousin who has a spring deagle and some guy on my street with a hardballer. im just torn between them.

Ok i think is will, where did you get yours, plycons, combat depot, im thinking ill get mine at combat depot. Do you know of any place other than mfiap.com that has the mags?

is the xm on airsplat.com TM? because if it is, thats a good place to get it. I got the XM177 and mp5sd3 from them, its a verry good site for springers.

anything over $100 is a hell of a lot of money for a springer. I say go with the hfc xm177. the new one with hopup is supposed to be really good. you can get it from www.advantageairsoft.com , that's a new retailer and the guy who runs it is really cool.

yeah i know its a lot for a springer, but i play with people who have spring pistols and mp5-sd3s and hardballers. so i won't be needing an aeg. and plus, the tm has more range, and i would want to be the "sniper" of the group (i know i know, but compared to the others i would be a "sniper")

If you want to be a sniper, you could get the super 9. it is supposed to have a little range over the tm xm even.
