I ordered 3 items from hobbytron.com and I am very disappointed with the results.

Here are my problems with the company:

I ordered 5000 .28 BBs and instead received a container of only 1000.
A selector switch for my MP5 was listed as in stock when ordered, but on the packing list it is listed as on back order.

Neither of these are major issues, unless the company is impossible to contact.
Such is the case in this instance.

The phone number on the receipt goes to a voicemail. I have left 2 messages a couple of weeks apart and have yet to receive a return call. It is recommended in their voicemail to contact them via support@hobbytron.com, but when you send them an e-mail, an automated return email appears telling you that they dont use support@hobbytron.com anymore, and that the website should be visited. Then, when you get to the website, there is a place where you can track your order. However, my order cannot be found. There is also a short process of fill in the blanks and scrolldown option to narrow down as to what problem you had with your order. Then when you submit it a message appears in a large white box that tells you to call a different number. This number just gives a busy signal.

I hope this serves as a word to the wise and no one else gets duped!

Guns/GM, did you check the BBB before ordering from them? You may not like what you find.

Also avoid SpeedyToys.com AT ALL COSTS. Early on in airsoft I ordered a few ICS parts from them. Big mistake. I got the run around for about 6 weeks. The guy would flat out lie to me, would say it shipped but when I asked for a tracking number he'd say it was still on backorder. Finally had to sic my CC company and the BBB on them for total fraud. I did get a refund finally, but only because I scared the guy with legal threats.

i bought a gun from them a while back and when it broke and had to return it i tried calling them for 4 weeks everyday until they finally answered the phone. after that i got a replacement gun and it broke too but they were better about the phone that time. finally i just got credit from that gun and put it towards a totally different gun that works great now. but it took 2 broken guns to get good customer service. i would rather to just walk in to a store and buy something that i can hold and know forsure i can come back if anything happens and know that i am not getting the run around.
