Marui Sig Series

What do you guys think of the 550,551,552 sigs. I am planning on buying one as my first gun. I heard that the 552 does NOT have the 3 round burst is this true?

Or should I just go with a Marui Ak-47

550 and 551 have 3 round burst, but it's more of a burden than a blessing. You get your gun wet and it could be out of action for a while. the 552 is a completely different gun than its predececors(sp?). It has almost everything dofferent except the standard SIG body. The AK though is buy far the nicest stock gun, and still has a couple of do-dads to attach to it. It's really just a matter of personal opinion though. I'll admit the AK is a nice gun but I will never own one. I myself am about to get my SIG 552 in a couple weeks and hope to be pleased.

i think that the 550 and 551 have 2-7 round burst, i dont know why you would want it to shoot 7 :confused: as for the ak-47, i think i would rather get the spetsnaz
1. its shorter
2. it comes with a 250 round mag
3. it has a rail mount for attachment of a grip or a flashlight or something
and 4. its black

I would choose the AK 47 over the Spetz. It's bigger yes, but the Spetz is WAY too small for me. The barrel is probably as long as my hand!

Ak47 all the way i think it is much better feel to it. the grips are very comfortable in yout hands, i dont like the spetz fore grips they feel very uncomfortable. and the 250 round hicaps are ok, i think they jiggle more than the 600rnders this shouldnt make sense but igeuss thats just my opinon

I've owned basiclly every AK made in airsoft except the Speznatz...


And i wont own one unless i need it for parts.

They are not real (A mix of 2 AK varients actully)

Its too short... and just looks fugly. So does the New guarder AK-103... but... i might buy one of those. Going for the 74 kit as soon as i can get my hands on one... Then a dragnov kit..

yeah to many people i know own the spetz and it pisses me off. I love the AK47 though i wanta give my gun more of an AKM look. i want a GP25 next but doubt that will happen since it would be very hard to machine

After being able to compare a 350 fps M16A2 and a 350fps AK47 together, with no other upgrades except for slings (well, I rigged up ghetto mag clamps, lol)-I must say I am very jealous. The weight was better, the fake wood grips look wonderful, and are great to the touch, and grip. Not only that, but the cocking action is hella lot louder and more metal like. The motor is older, but the ROF is hardly any differance-the best part is the sound of full auto on an AK, tons better than my A2. Needless to say, I'm gonna get an AK47 as my next AEG. I would consider something HK for a third AEG-probably either an upgraded MC51 or the Sig 552.

Go with the AK, although I'd say the M1A1 Thompson SMG is the best stock TM AEG, its a solid, wonderful performing gun. Meh likeh.

Never shot a Thompson but I hear they are wonderful. Seems anything made with the fake wood is a high performer. Now if only someone would come out with a B.A.R....eh hem!

Actully... a GP25 wont be hard to machine... Im actully getting one made for my self... it will be in the 230~ ish range.

i know but, im not great at machining and i havent really drawn any plans up yet but from my ideas in my head i dont really no how to go about it. soon i will get back in the shop and start it though. if you have any ideas/schematics let me know cause im stuck for tem well im not really sure how the normal SP M203s work.
