UAkron and Surrounding area

So as I prepare myself for college, I have to know what the airsoft scene is like up in and near my future. Sidd is the only person that is up there that I know of. So give me an idea of what you guys do up there and if there are any teams that are opening up. Thanks

The airsoft scene In Akron is like a million times what it was say 4-5 years ago Plus i would love to see some practical practice shooting of which i will post vids as soon as i get my camera

Most of the games in the NEOhio area are going to be roughly 45 minutes away from you. The only exception I know of that is Walsh Farms which will be 15-20 minutes from the UA campus itself. RTA has a field in Cleveland, and 2 in the Youngstown area, one being Battelfront and the other being an all CQB facility.

Hope to see you on northern soil after you move up. And if you need anybody to show you around the area send me a PM. I've lived in the AKrowdy my whole life.

a couple of my graduated friends are going to UAkron, they play with me in barberton. but its mostly just us that play in barberton. im looking for places for us to play besides the woods.

Battlefront has had weekly games there on tuesdays for the past month or so. Im not sure how long they will last once school starts, but its pretty close to Uakron.

From my experience, Walsh Farms and BTT will be your best and closest places to play consistently. Battlefront is a little further away, but worth the drive. I'm in the area as well, and I'd love to see more action happening (but then again, who wouldn't?).

Ive got me + 7-10 people that are all regulars, the only thing is that some of weve got some pretty little kids (2 12 yr olds.) Theyre tough as my KWA but I know some guys wouldnt like that, which I dont blame anyone for, its somewhat annoying occasionally. Were in NE Ohio though, about 30 minutes from Akron. Anyone whsoe close enough is welcome to play, just gotta pm me. ;)

I go to College up at Malone and am on an airsoft/paintball team. Im orginally from Columbiana, Ohio which is about 15 minutes away from Youngstown. I know around 30 people personally that play and would be willing to travel between Youngstown and Canton to play. I have an airsoft course at my house thats made up of about 2 acres of wooded land, We also play in an abandoned school in New Waterford. I go to UA, live mostly in Akron but home is actually Litchfield (medina county).

I was last into airsoft about 2 years ago, but sold everything.
I'm back now! I swear that when I was playing there wasn't a single event anywhere near me, but now it seems it's pretty good up here.

I ordered a CYMA M14 (if you told me when I was last playing that CYMA would have a good AEG for $110, I would never have believed you) and a few mags and I'm looking forward to some real playing again.
