I know full well of several sites overseas, (british stuff is easy to get from the UK, go figure) but I was wondering if anyone knows a good website to order the 2 color desert DPM in the US-
I was hoping to get it in a week or so, if at all possible-but I have a sudden urge to go kinda british desert rat look at a game coming up (cough, Sharkhunter, cough!).
I have found the shirt/jacket at majorsurplusnsurvival.com, a place I don't really enjoy ordering from...
but if anyone knows, please let me know, it would really help out-thanks

Well, for woodland DPM, british is essentially easy to find, that is correct-but dutch desert I have never come across, ever in my life.
So for I gotta stick with the brit desert DPM-I tracked down a shirt for $10 in california, and a couple others for more than that, but too small or too big, or faded badly.
I'd like to get both articles from the same place for obvious reasons, but it appears I might have to get shirt and pants seperate.

The dutch must suck at designing camo...
FYI- Their woodland issue design is a direct knock-off of British woodland DPM and their desert issue pattern is actually a direct knock-off of our own, US tri-color desert
Just they design their fabric and pocket placement differently.
As for british desert DPM, look at www.flecktarn.co.uk (yea, its not in the USA, I know), http://www.ironwolfent.com and also, an Ebay user store called Millitary Giffin (same owner as Iron Wolf Ent. but has some more stuff there).
If that still boggles you, wait until more Brits start coming back from A-stan and Iraq, then your local surplus stores should get an influx of desert gear :D

Yeah, good ol' flecktarn.co.uk-I could spend a fortune at that place and end up with full flec, DPM, Danish, Rain, and SWAT set ups, heheh. I'd buy everything they have pretty much.
But I forgot about ironwolf, they do have lots of stuff like that, and I remember seeing a desert DPM shirt now that you mention it-I'll head on over and check out the prices.
Thanks.

Arktis USA usually stocks a British Desert pattern for their gear.

Rothco makes a BDU they call "Safariflage", simular to DPMs..

I have seen a pic of an airsofter using all safariflage in the desert before, it looked good-someday maybe I'll consider it. But its more of one of those "If someone gave me a pair I'd wear it" things, not really after spending money on it.

my question is, is there a place who makes custom pants in desert DPM, because i am a big guy, and will never fit into standard brit sizes.
