It only works with the newer vests that have adjustable pouch lids.

If so, the vest you have is not the Blackhawk Omega medic vest. The pouches Jaeger was talking about are the large utility pouches and not the magazine pouches.

The Blackhawk Omega medic vest has 4 large utility pouches and the Omega Crossdraw EOD vest has two pouches. I check the fitment tonite and write a response in the morning.

I was just wondering if you took Jaeger's comments the wrong way or if you already had this vest.

Oh, I see. I was told that they also fit in the Crossdraw Vests too by several people, that's why.

If this is the case, where can I get the Medic vest? I see the shotgun utility one at lightfighter, but the link from the piccture seems to be broken. Are they the same?

What look are you going for? I saw you posted in the SG-1 thread and now here. Are you going for the SG-1 look, or are you just trying to find a vest that works with the P90 magazines?

I have the BlackHawk Omega - Cross Draw/EOD vest. I was under the understanding that this vest is based on the BlackHawk Omega Tactical Medic/Utility vest, but half of the large pouches had been removed and a universal pistol holster was put in their place. SG-1 wears the BlackHawk Omega Tactical Vest Medic/Utility vest. If in fact I am correct and the large pouches on the EOD vest and the Medic/Utility vest are the same, P90 magazine DO NOT fit. The pouches are too short.

If you want to the SG-1 look, go with either of these vests and get a thigh magazine pouch for your P90 magazine. I got my mag pouch from Botach Tactical. It was the cheapest of the 3 P90 magazine pouhces that I found and it works very well.

If you are just looking for a vest that works with the P90 magazines, here is a vest I just picked up and it works very well. The vest is the South African / Rhodesian M-83 Style Assault Vest. It cost $40 and comes in several different colors / camos. It worked very well for me during my last skirmish. I know it is not true tactical quality but it should be enough for airsoft use. This is the only vest that I know of that will work P90 magazines as it comes from the manufacturer.

Hope this helps, do not give up on your P90 yet. Mine has served me very well and it is a fun gun to own.

Yea, I wanted that SG-1 look, with a thigh pistol mounted holster. I've seen your posts about the P90 and its accessories, and they're very informative, and got much of my info about the P90 from them. The only thing I hate about the P90 is the hassle it takes to get a nice vest for the mags. I was hoping to get the thigh pouch as a last resort, so I'll try finding out about the new vests with he adjustable lids. Thanks for your help nextmayor. You can be my P90 teacher on how to installed things like a new tappet plate or cylinder head

I need to apologize, I didn't realize that Lightfighter was the person who posted about the Blackhawk vests.

Lightfighter as a person and a company is very knowledgeable about a lot of gear. If he says that P90's fit in the new BHI vest with adjustable lids, I'm sure they do. I have just never seen a BHI vest with adjustable lids. However, Lightfighter see a lot more gear that I ever will so stick with information.

My post about the mags not fitting was just about the BHI Medic / Utility vest's or the Crossdraw EOD vest's large utility pouches. Someone had previously said that P90 mags would fit in these pouches and that is not the case.

As to where you can find either of these vests, check out www.airsoftarms.com. Brian there really set me up and was willing to answer all of my questions. Blackhawk vest and products are pretty common, a simple search of the web should yield you a bunch of hit. Additionally, I have seen a bunch of good deals on Blackhawk vests on eBay lately, but I can't say I ever bought one off of eBay.
