I reacently bought the 249 and have found litle time to use it. Haven't played a single game with it, shot about 500 rounds through with no problems what so ever.
I am new to the world of airsoft and dont know all of the technical details, but i bought the gun from Mr. Black. I do know that the sprin in the gun shoots at 350, and there has been some custom work doe with the gear box. for further details you might wat to ask the smith.
I will post pictures later tonight, the gun is is great condition, fully working with only a few minor knicks and scratches. Nothing a new coat of paint couldnt cover up. box mag works perfectly and will include the 9-volt, and the gun also comes with 2 batteries (which i dont know the specs on)
Im not interested in parting out the gun or trading, and my current asking price in 600 Obo. the 600 will includes shipping if no place to meet up can be worked out.

I had fun buliding this gun. Its got a EG1000 motor, custom gearbox work and polish, 16aug custom wiring. Cylander polish + Full compression mods. CA guns tend to work best with CA parts so I used new CA gears and a new piston. Custom work on piston for reliability. Perfect shimming job and Systema shims. I did custom work to the box mag for reliability and wirred it with an external pressure pad to the grip. Systema barrel and hop. New hopup n.ub. I made two batteries for the gun both 9.6. If I remember correctly one is a 1400 and the other is a 1800mah. Ither way they are great batterys, I wirred them so that if you ever want to you could split them into nunchucks for use in an M4. This would be a great gun to do the Large battery in the boxmag mod too. This is a great gun and VERY much worth his asking price!!!!

I may be interested. would like some more info.
Custom work on piston for reliability. So you cut the 2nd tooth like the rest of us huh? ;)
If you really want to finish out that mechbox and make it bulletproof - vxb bearings. Also remember to never, ever use a Systema Polycarb piston in it. since 07 they've been junk (red and black models).
But given what Mr Black is describing it does indeed sound like easily worth the price and then some.
Curiosity Question - why change the stock gears for a 350 spring? My gears are over 1/2 million rounds thru them and with the exception of a sector gear that lost a tooth are the original stock ones. And I run 400-450 depending on event. Was it a parts gun or something?
I did custom work to the box mag for reliabilityWhat exactly? Because aside from spindle spring-pinning they don't need much beyond a lubing and brace around the ferris wheel, at most.

LOL.. Hillslam your the best. People seem to not like it when I tell them that I cut off parts of their piston, so I now I just put it under the "custom mod" label. The gun was origionaly a super custom that shot 35 rounds a second with 3 teeth taken off a swiss cheese ICS aluminum piston and 3 off the sector gear, with a boreup kit to make up the difference. For what he wanted it for, I had to go back to stock. So sence I had them in one of my parts bins I gave him a new set upgraded gears. I set everything with the eventual upgrade of 400fps and a magnum motor in mind. The box mag reliability is nothing too fancy. Mark off all areas that bbs tend to get into, break into the box, clean gears and walls, polish bb tube and lube, set and tighten spring, wire for external pressue pad.
