Question about the imfamous Systema Red Piston

I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not it's safe enough to use the red piston by systema that was declared defective so long ago. I understood that Systema fixed the problem in their newer batches, but has it been long enough that the old stuff been flush out? I just bought an FTK from wargamers, but am still a bit reluctant to go ahead an put it in. Thanks guys.

Give it a try, that's the only way you'll know. Even if they did fix the problems with it, doesn't mean you didn't get the defective version that was still laying around.

When I had the red piston in my CA M16-A3 (about 6 months ago) was that it kept jamming at back of the mechbox. If you see that your gun's experiencing a problem, don't push it...you could strip the gears.
