That's cause your CA M4T does shoot 350fps...it has a 170% spring.
I must say both guns are horrible, CA M4T and ICS MP5s. Instead, look into CA Armalites and AirsoftElite MP5s, they have better quality control on those lines. And don't buy from Jungletoy, retailers like Combat Depot are almost similarily priced but with quality service. JungleToy is like buying from eBay, cheap and unreliable.

Retailers will skew their FPS #'s in order to sell their guns. It's easy to make a springer shoot over 300 FPS...if you use .12g bb's...

Which is why you can't really trust completly reviews on retailer sites duto the fact you ahve to remember that they are still trying to sell their product

While I agree with you that CA guns leave something to be desired (coughcough quality control coughcough), I have had quite some experience with the new ICS MP5s, and must say, they left me quite impressed. They come with a metal body stock, as well as shoot around 310-320fps out of the box.
That, and we sell them at Airsoft Arms for only $259.99, they cannot be beat. They are the only MP5s (minus the RAS) that I would ever even consider buying, as I just don't like the Marui-s.
But yes, generally, CA guns are garbage, except for the M24 which I kinda like :).

I had an ICS MP5A4 V2 that was a great gun, no problems besides the cocking handle snapping off (HK Slap Happy..).

That may very well be, but the Classic Army Armalites are not garbage. So far the gun seems to be flawless. I'd buy a Armalite any time of day over a ICS gun. ICS has worse quality control than CA.

The whole fps thing you were crying about, there is a standared. For instance all fps on combatdepot are tested with regular .2 bbs ( no person that plays airsoft uses .12 unless they are retarted in an aeg). You als said dont buy from combatdepot even though thye have the best customer service around. I would also recommend getting a Tm aeg over any other because they are of much better quality. I can say this and back it up cause I have a Tm and it is amazing. The whole stock thing, not many people use stock guns, if you buy a Tm all you do is buy an m100 spring and u at 350.

Get a stock TM box and slap it in there for the LIMITED times you will be CQB or outdoor. Most of your play will be outdoor anyway and around 400 is an ideal FPS!

I believe the original mood of this thread was ask about different guns vs FPS readings. I didnt know it was a spelling-bee.

Those of you that have nothing better to do that check other posters punctuation and spelling need to go do it at another board and leave the replies to players who actually have something worthwhile to say in relationship to the topic at hand.

As from a previous post...

I would venture to say that the gun has a PDI 140% instead of 170%. 170% will yield almost 400 FPS and even MORE THAN that at times by itself....much less with spring guide and TN barrel. :eek: I would do a personal search for the type of gun you have and the various upgrade components that others, with your same weapon style/manufacturer, have found when taking their variant apart.

Personally, I LOVE PDI springs but they have been known to chrono WAYYY HIGHER than what they have been hypothetically estimated at. I recently installed a PDI 140% in a G36 then installed another 140% in another G36 and the first one chronoed 370+ after install and the second at 355 after install.:confused: That goes to show you that REGARDLESS the upgrade you are NEVER guaranteed the same or even the hypothetical results. ;)
