Ummm... I find it very difficult to read both of your guys' posts. Please do not use IM speak, use the language that we all know, basic English, out of the Webster Dictionary. We need to use proper spelling in grammar to present the best image possible for our forums and airsoft in general. When the media and parents browse this site when they see IM speak they begin to lose respect for us and our sport. We want to present the best image we can to the public, lets give them a reason to respect.

Guys, calm down. Sidd, go ahead and tell him to fix his grammar, but don't be so assertive.
Mikeo, don't lash out at other members. He was giving you advice. Next time, take the advice and don't be a self-centered *** about it.
Both of you guys, fix your grammar. It's not that much of an issue, but we like having this forum look pretty. And plus it can be hard to understand. It's not that hard to clean up your post. In fact, I find it much easier to type like this (proper spelling and grammar).
I know I am being a hypocrite, if you can't answer the question, don't post.

Mikeo,
One thing people don't appreciate is a lack of respect and rules of a forum. Forum rules dictate that all user should use proper English and Grammar to the best of their ability. People who use leet speak or bad grammar are generally frowned upon here. Some people have a very short fuse when others disrespect the rules of the forum here, so take that as a warning to do better next time. :)
Otherwise, welcome to the forums.

To actually answer the question:
You could Pm him about it.
Or you could be more specific (Is this an AO event or a private game?). I can understand your post fine but it still makes brains my hurt.

I don't think it matters what you use and whether or not your spelling and grammar checker is off. I use my iPhone to post on AO quite often, and I still use proper English (btw, the iPod Touch and iPhones don't have grammar checkers). My point was to make sure you knew why people were pissed off about your use of slang and to make sure you knew that it's generally not appreciated here on the forums. :)
Anyway, take care and good night.
Darkstar out.

We're not doing this to be elitist. Rather we feel it is important to present a good image and for overall readability of the forum so that we can help answer your question to the best of our abilities. At the same time too, it will be better for you in the long run, as proper spelling and grammar are vital throughout life.
All we are asking for is respect. We are here to help you and answer questions you might have, but we also ask that you read the rules and guidelines prior to posting and abide by them. Life is a two way street, and this is no different.
In response to your question, PM's generally work best.

Nobody cares about your excuses. Just fix the issue as you've been asked to. As was mentioned earlier, our sport needs every bit of good PR it can get, and that includes having our forums appear to be populated by people mature enough to handle running around with a fully automatic BB gun. Based on the attitude and maturity (or lack thereof) you're displaying here I wouldn't trust you with a spitball let alone a gun that, to a casual observer at least, looks just like an assault rifle. Based on the way you're handling yourself here, I can seriously see you as the kid who's stupid enough to take his replica to school as a "joke".

haha no i wouldn't and you guys want these forums to look good and give airsoft a better name and rep yet your drilling the kid who doseent use the best spelling and grammar and make him (me) feel like ****:( becuase of it becuase i would love to make some new friends that play airsoft but that seems hard to do and in a bunch of post people are saying that people who play airsoft are nicer than people that play paintball well so far i would say thats the most ludacris statement ive ever heard becuase i have only really found 2 or so "nice" people. as someone said earlier they want it to look good to parents who come to the site but all they will see is people being jerks about something thats not that important and they wouldn't want there kids hanging out with people that are like that.
oh and bullet are you too lazy to spell out what ever pr is? our sport needs every bit of good PR it can get,.

Probably most of us are trying to "protect" the image of the site we have built over the years. Many people have been long time members here, and they have been with the site, and help build an image of a mature responsible community. Now when you come in here, disrespect the rules, and then even fail to change after being asked to, well of course you are going to piss some people off.

mikeo112,
First off, nobody here was doing anything other than giving you a suggestion. Sure, some of them weren't executed in the most respectful manner, but the fact remains that even after multiple people has warned you, you still are willfully violating posted forum rules. These can be found here, by the way:
http://www.airsoftohio.com/forums/showthread.php?p=137623
In this case, you should spend particular attention to Rule #4, which reads:
4) Please at least attempt to use correct spelling in your posts - There is a spell checker supplied at the the bottom of a "new post" screen that is directly next to "Preview Post button".
You aren't being asked to do anything that everyone ahead of you has already been asked to do. We are a very open, welcome, helping community provided you follow the rules and respect others.
When you piss on the rules, you piss on the people that were here ahead of you that followed those rules, and people get mad.
To the rest of you peoples: Chill.

yes i am spelling at the best of my ability, and attempting to use proper grammar
but yet there are people who are being jerks about it. i personally think that having a community of friends like a brother hood would give better reputation to airsoft than people picking on ones flaws.
also i am just puting this out there 2) No "Yes Man" posting is allowed - If it has already been said, then it doesn't need said again, the exception to this rule being one concerning with votes or polls.and 1) Do unto others as you would have them do unto you! - If you don't have anything constructive to say about a question someone asks, then stay out of it. There has been a lot of comments to the extent of "GTFO" recently. These are overtly disrespectful, and since one can argue that the comments were "in jest" this is no longer allowed. Do NOT insult people in the forums publicly, even if you know them. Insulting administrators and moderators is even worse. and those rules weren't followed by some people here much.

Ok, i think that this has gone on longer than it needed to. Mikeo, it looks like you fixed your spelling so lets get off of that subject, and if you got your answer to the original post then someone close the thread. My opinion is that this has gotten way to far off topic.

Alright bud, I let the stuff THEY did go, because I let a bunch of stuff that YOU did go. So, since you are so keen to tell me to enforce the rules, I shall do so.

well i said that i was just putting this out there and loki u also broke rule 4 to for your spelling and grammar. which is not fair just becuase your the big scary admin!! but thats cool i guess. i was also pointing out that bullying someone on there flaws brings down the rep for airsoft. along with stupid kids with airsoft guns.

Request to lock thread. Put it in Hall of Infamy so that the next time someone makes a bad post we can give a link to this thread.
Loki, you are doing your job. And I respect that.
Mikeo: don't make excuses. Fix what you did wrong and get over it. And stop being a hypocrite. You said "don't insult anyone", yet your second post in this thread was filled with poor language.
Everyone else, stop posting. IF YOU CAN'T ANSWER THE QUESTION DON'T POST. We have already ganged up on him, and he knows this.
