throat mic's needed

Trying to find FRS/GMRS radio (cobra or motorolla probably) capable throat mic's. I need 5, preferably below $550 each, but if need be I could probably go higher if its worth it. Any links / help would be appreciated, thanks.

I have no idea as to the quality of this, but they are like $100 each.

This particular model is supposedly designed for airsoft use, but a regular version for phones and what not is like $40.

yeah, i know of the clearcom airsoft ones, im looking for more of the $300+ range, real, true, throat mic's. Most places i find only want to sell to law enforcement, etc.

You probably wont find much that in that price range. Good mikes go from $450-$550; then there is garbage for less than a hundred. Be careful, though -- good mikes often work poorly with low qaulity radio (impedences and line voltages might n ot be robust enough to handle pro-gear in that range). If you come up with the excat radio you have, I can find you good mikes that will 'fit'; but it wouldtake trial and error to know if they will work as well with FRS as they would with UHF or VHF.

I'm looking for a Throat Mic for a ICOM IC-F4TR,I need something rugged enough to handle fire/rescue applications, and I dont want to mortgage the homestead to buy it.:D

You have very good radios. Anything from TCI will be strong enough and powerful enough for your liesure and your rescue uses. The TTMK is a good choice; and works well in both environments. I don't know anything about what kind of houseyou live in, but you shouldn't have to move out to get a set. ;)
