Despite a 30 degrees weather and some nasty wind by time, on behalf of Hardlock and myself, we want to thanks the 44 courageous players today. I know the temperature was warmer in the wood but still, you guys could have stayed home and enjoyed a great morning in the bed :D

I am not about to go through everything that was not respected or neglected but I definitely want to give one tip for the future events;

When you decide to use a decoy for your mission, make sure that decoy will not be seen and/or recognized :D
Duuuhhhhhhhhh! (sorry guys, I could not resist)

I don't know about you guys but I truly enjoyed the event today. Unfortunately, looks like I already have few names on my watch list already.
Oh well....

Thanks to all of you that helped out a Newbie, I had alot fun and hope to play with you guys again. Thank you Blade and team strikers and all the guys that gave me some great tips. It was a pleasure to met you all. Most of all thanks to Harlock for introducing me to the Sport!

One of my favorite parts of the event was when Blade flanked around enemy and just walked up to them and got like 5-6. I was dead at the time, but I just sat back. I have a video clip of the second half of his attack (started filming late). But all the red ragged woodland guys are dead because of him. It was quite interesting to watch: http://www.veoh.com/videos/v3319923JGf6H68n Sorry about quality.

I had a great time today. I think that blade and hardlock did one h*** of a job today.

I have to say that once you got moving the temp was good. Didn't really notice till had to go back to the cars or to the top of the field. Then the wind just bit at you.

I think that everyone there did a great job and played fair. My favorite part was when the green team pushed the tan team to the railroad tracks and then sandwiched them!! Just sucked because we got back across the field only to die from the tan team hunting us down! lol

I had a blast today, as did the 91st. Yeah, Vitamin, I was one of the three guys who still had an arm band on and when we saw what seemed to be the entire green team come out of the woods, we didn't really know what to do. Our plan would have worked against a few of you guys, BUT NOT THE WHOLE TEAM!!!! Despite a really busted up knee, it was an awesome day. 97th, it's always a pleasure playing along side you.

Despite being outnumbered 2 to 1 and losing pretty much every single game, I had a blast. I actually enjoyed playing with the teams stacked like that. It made for a target rich environment.

King, the pleasure was all ours. That was pretty cool seeing the entire green side rushing us through the field. It's times like that when I wish I could call in an airstrike.

Blade, the decoy may not have worked as well as we wanted, but we still came pretty close to winning that one. It was a good plan, and a heck of a workout escorting you all the way around the perimeter of the field. That was one of my favorite games of the day.

Thanks Blade, Hardlock, and the rest of the strikers. Can't wait to do it again.

Inferno, oh don't worry buddy, it's through mistake that you truly learn.
Overall, that decoy mission was awesome no matter what and ending up so close to the goal was the best part. I felt like the guy dying in from of the helicopter in Platoon....so close but so far :D

That was great! Thanks to everyone who helped me out. Thanks to team Phalanx for letting me tag along, Strikers for setting up a perfect, casual introduction, and the sniper who tagged me through the trees during the turkey shoot. Almost a perfect dead center goggle shot, and all I saw was the 6mm sized drop of moisture on my goggles. :)

Well all, I do have to say it was fun, it was cold, and my dear Fake Blade....your accent SUX!!! LOL Oh and you still cannot have the Real Blade either!!!!!

Thanks all for coming out, and I hope to see all of you AND MORE out at the upcoming games. Keep your eyes posted boys and girls. Plenty in store and I do believe the guys have some more awesomeness cooking right at this very moment.

This was by far the most fun I've had at an airsoft event in a while, not to mention the epic followings that some of the 91st had. 97th, Phalanx, nice to see you guys out! Strikers, Thanks greatly for the great day.

97th it was a great sight to see you back in force - it's been too long!!

91st as always you guys are a hoot - Spades you have to smile more bro it's really not that bad!

STRIKERS yet again you put on a wonderful event, Phalanx is looking forward to your 2008 schedule.

A fun, relaxed way to welcome 2008, and best of all snow free! I thoroughly enjoyed myself as did my teammates. And from what I saw everyone else did too. Even the "fake Frank" - That was pretty funny.

I don't know, It thought my Indian/Jamaican/British/Asian accent was pretty convincing...

Big thanks to Blade and Hardlock. Being a roleplayer/prisoner/Blade kept things interesting after my gun died. I really had to dumb myself down for that last role but it was still lots of fun, lol.

Field stripping my gun under fire during the second game was pretty fun, until I got hit before I could finish fixing it.

91st, as always it was a pleasure to play along side you.
Phalanx, as alway is was a pleasure to play against you.
Everyone else, I'm was afraid the cold would scare too many people away, but you turned it into a great day of airsoft.

I have to say, the more and more I go to Casual events, the more I enjoy them. It's a way to goof off and not worry about who wins or loses. It's all about the laughs. Serious events are fun, but it seems that no matter where you go, you still can't beat the laughs you get at the small events.

I had fun even if we were outnumbered. I got a few kills, had fun with my teammates (even though we ended up getting separated in the arm-band game at least 4 times due to having to walk away). I had a few fun deaths, and Phil and myself were being the "Incredibly ****ty Ninjas" that we are. Trying to sneak around casually in the middle of a firefight only works when people aren't paying attention...

Scorpion, if you want to see me smile look at pic NS095 from Mobius..... there you go! Mobius, great pics man! you took a lot of great action pics!

Tan team, we did a great job despite being out numbered two to one!
Green team, you guys put up one heck of a fight all day!
97th it was a blast rolling with you guys! i don't know what his name was, but it was the guy who helped me defend that building against 20 green guys, that was a great time!

I guess so, it's ok it will be warm soon and that won't be a worry. Back on thread....Mobius your pictures are great as always, thank you for taking so many. I'm glad you enjoy your camera as much as your rifle!

Oh thank you goes out to team STORM for their Claymore action in town..i was being rescued and all of the sudden BBs hit me and i look down to see a detonated claymore next to MY gear that was stacked on a tree. That was a great spot it just looked like the gear pile. Fortunately my rescuer was not hit so we only had to wait a short while.

Nice video by the way, quality is alright considering it's not like a zillion dollar camera you were shooting with, lol. I see Blade in there, and Blarney, at about 12 seconds way down the trail, running across, but I can't really make out anyone else. What was it that you were filming that with? I saw that it was a gun cam, obviously, but where'd you get it, or rather, what brand/model was it?

Scorpion- Yeah, I love the camera just as much as my rifle alright :D. *hugs camera*

The camera is a Tony Hawk Skateboarding camera, its pretty crappy, but then again I didn't pay much for it. I got mine at bestbuy, but this is a site that I found: http://www.toygroove.com/pics-vids/hcam.html?gclid=CKvx4aeNmJECFQQjPAodKCyKPA. A better gun cam is the Oregon ATC2000.

I have more clips of the event, but I haven't edited them yet. I will make a short video of event sometime soon. Here is some of my past event videos:

Blind Fury 4 (http://www.metacafe.com/watch/817894/blind_fury_4/)

Operation: Snow Blind (http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1033885/operation_snow_blind/)

Scorpion: Yea that was Natme's claymore, he was way up on hill when it was detonated. I was surprised it worked that far. Majority of the woodland guys went behind city, but I'm glad he got to use it. This is a quick video of Natme setting it up http://www.veoh.com/videos/v3319989SQhJQmKh Sorry, there is a lot of looking at ground.

yea, the best thing would be for me to mount it on a helmet, so there wasn't so much video of ground, but haven't got to it. But gun cam does look cool at times, just most of the time I am moving a lot.
