This post is just to find out if Tokyo Marui mags are better than Classic Army mags for my m16. Im thinking TM'S are better but can i expect problems with CA'S. Any input is appreciated.

I don't have a problem with my ca mag, neither does my brother and he used his for over a year. I think they are really the same, just that TM overcharges, as usually. The finish is a little different, maybe TM is using some expansive paint

I have had feeding problems with CA mags in my old TM M733.

I currently use 3 CA hicaps. I have not had any problems with them, MAYBE the occasional misfeed, but nothing other than that.

Yeah but that really doesn't mean much, my brother's m16 refused to feed bbs from the G&P mag, but that same mag worked with other guns flawlessly.

My former p90 mags had problems feeding the stealth green bbs, but they worked just fine in other guns.

But seriously, TM mags are not worth the extra buck over CA, unless you gun as some personal preference for TM mags.

CA magazines (the current ones) have a very good finish, much better than Tokyo Marui's. They are also gray, very similar to the excellent AE mags, the only difference, externally, is that the AE mags have divots in the side whereas the CAs are flat (like TM).

The only problem I've had with CAs is that the latch for the bbs doesn't click into place very well, if at all. There has been a few instances where I took the half full magazine out only to have twenty or so bbs fall out of the open latch on the top of the magazine..

All in all they are pretty good.

I'd actully use GP's if i still had my m733...

They seem to be the best bang for the buck.
