I have been playing airsoft for about three years now pretty seriously. i was a sniper with a ca m24 but recently moved to a standard m4 with extended m16 length inner barrel and silencer. I also have a kwa usp compact. I also am using a custom made vest setup to allow for maximum movement and mobility. I am currently on the 97th Phantom Squadron. I plan to maintain the sniper role in the sense of special forces on our team with my spotter Inferno, however i think we will be classified and special forces recon instead of sniper/spotter.

Hey im pretty much a n0.0b to airsoft and i was wondering.. Is that investment money worth it. I mean so you make money for winning tournaments or do you just work harder at your job?

Well, it is up to you whether or not airsoft is worth the price tag, but I can tell you for sure that there are no cash prizes.

In fact, in airsoft, winning isn't as important as having fun, and getting to look cool.

they all pretty much speak the truth. Honestly on paper, totally not worth the money, however experiencing it makes the cost totally worth it. Like trauma said, no cash prizes. winning just gives you bragging rights until the next battle. I would advise investing only the bare minimum until you know for sure this is something you want to invest a lot of money in. good luck.
